The cities of Livermore, Dublin and Pleasanton form a loosely shaped triangle within California's Tri-Valley region, a cluster of three small valleys about 33 miles east of San Francisco and 35 miles northeast of San Jose. Known for its Mediterranean climate, rolling hills and historic vineyards, this once bucolic region now boasts three separate downtown areas, a bustling business community and some of the best wineries in the state.
At the eastern end of the region lies the city of Livermore. Once known as Livermores, Livermore Ranch and Nottingham, the city sits at the center of Livermore Valley, a historic region dotted with more than 5,000 acres of mostly family-owned vineyards. A pastoral neighborhood known for its charming yet functional hilltop windmills, Livermore hosts the internationally recognized and sometimes controversial center of scientific research, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Stoneridge Apartments
Be prepared to pay for a ton of extra stuff. I live alone in a 1 bedroom and pay an extra $190 a month. $63 for trash alone. $5.50 for a third party company to send me an email telling me I owe $190 extra.
Here are some things to consider before looking at this place. - Mandatory $25 valet waste (Most large bins are within walking distance) - Mandatory $25 parking. (Will be towed if you do not pay even though contract states a parking violation must be issues and 96 hours have elapsed) - Utility formula is based on how much entire complex uses and then divided equally - Long wait times to have someone contact you back about any inquiries(days, weeks, or never) - Gated community but front entrance directory does not work, side door entrance is broken (anyone can come in) - They are not liable for any theft even if gated entrances are damaged and anyone can come in. - Photos they provide to show complex are all edited and saturated, does not look as nice. - If you have a package get sent to their package room and you do not pick up in two days, you are charged a storage fee.
Management is terrible. They will take every penny from you, charge you for random things, and then not respond to your communications. Oh and when they do, they are unpleasant to say the least. Have lived in 12 apartments up and down California, this was hands down the most expensive and the worst.
I actually very much enjoy the physical apartment and complex. There are maintenance issues here and there that are fine to overlook. What makes this place so bad is the HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT of this complex. They have ROUTINE FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY (hard to get a hold of, no follow-up communication on construction projects that impact your home and schedule, sometimes GHOST YOU OUTRIGHT). I went in today to have my complaints heard and was treated VERY POORLY; one of their office employees outwardly CUSSED AT ME IN FRONT OF MY 10-MONTH OLD BABY while their manager sat idly and said nothing about this. In short, this property management cares nothing for its residents. Just a greedy money grab, which is too bad because it’s beautiful here
Staff is very rude over here. What you see initially vs when you start living is very different. Further lots of hidden charges and expensive affair for a place so noisy. Even if your doors and windows are closed, poor quality of sealing would feel you as if one on freeway. Fall is the mess. So dusty, one cannot got on their vehicles
Both heater and AC broke during the winter and summer time. Reached out to them multiple times to come and fix the AC during the summer time, but they only fix it temporarily and would end up braking a few weeks later. Never got a new AC/ heater unit. Don’t move here. They charge way too much rent, but are not willing to make up for it. The staff was great but when it comes to fixing things it’s not the best place they are also gonna take every penny you have in the deposit. They will try to charge things that were there before and try to Pass them on to you.
Living in our two bedroom townhouse unit is a dream. We love it here.
Quiet neighborhood, comfortable service, warm home
Stoneridge is a great place to live, peaceful and nice up to date apartment homes!!!
We spent a few months looking for a community to move to, in both Dublin and Pleasanton. After doing so we felt Stoneridge Apartments was the best option. Their floor plan and community fit everything we we’re looking for. Beyond happy we came across this place and very fortunate to be living here.
Quiet, love the trees, ambience. Security. Love the layout of my apartment. Close to freeway. Cut the bushes back too late in the season. Should have been cut back in February. Don't like when the pool gets too noisy. Only on occasion.
This is a good community to be a part of. Everything is centrally located and easy to get to. It's been great having a Covid-19 testing site nearby.
The apartments are good size and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful in getting you into the apartment quickly upon arrival. Amenities are good. very nice workout facility and pool.
It's a quiet place to live and parking won't be an issue.
This community is a hidden gem next to the mall. Quiet community with nice amenities and raptors in the trees!
Friendly staff, prompt with maintenance request and a good neighborhood to live in.
Beautiful layout/apartments. I love the animal friendly community and the great location.
Living here is very nice. The Leasing Office and Maintenance Teams are always so nice. Any service requests are handled quickly.
The property is well maintained and the units are beautiful and comfortable. The property management team is super attentive. Love the community!
This community is absolutely wonderful! The amenities are great - there is something for everyone - a gym, pools, spas - even a doggie Paw Spaw! Neighbors are friendly and helpful. There are lots of dogs that live here (with their owners ;-) ), so being a dog owner myself I love to see that. My apartment was completely renovated so it feels brand new and is so spacious with THREE patios - I feel so lucky to have found this community and can't imagine leaving!
Living in Stoneridge has been a pleasant experience. Its location is excellent, walkable to BART, close proximity to grocery stores, hospitals, etc., The community is clean and well maintained with all possible amenities someone would look for in an apartment complex. The maintenance requests at the apartment are attended to by the staff immediately and in a very professional manner. The staff at the leasing office are very cordial. In all an amazing place to live!
This complex is the absolute best! I am single, but living in bottom unit, two bedroom apartment and it is SO spacious and I absolutely love all the outdoors space - I have 3 patios!! It has been so fun to get artificial grass and some trees and flowers and enjoy the beauty and fresh air. The complex is also so quiet - after moving from San Francisco I was expecting a lot of noise from neighbors and I literally haven't heard a things, except for friendly hellos on our dog walks outside! This place is a gem and I am beyond excited to have found it and moved in.
I really love this community, it is safe and quiet and well-maintained. The management team is very responsive and friendly.
Quiet and safe community for families. Nice gym facilities and plenty of open space for walks. Convenient distance to transit, local shopping, retail, and downtown.
Awesome community, excellent service, Feel like home...

Do you pine for the days of Soviet-era government housing? Do you want your landlord to have less compassion and empathy than a bag of rocks? Do you like overpaying for amenities that aren't open or useable? Do you like a five minute walk through the rain every time you come home? Then come overpay at Stoneridge!

We applied for the apartment 2 months back. But actually looking at apartment we did not like it much. The leasing agent Tyler committed us that all fees during application will be refunded as they are waved due to covid crises. But it has been two months that no rufund is received. Is this a good practice to commit on something and then not even respond to email follow up and phone calls made.Stay away from even applying here if you are not sure of the apartment.

There are many nice things about living here but paying high price for trash bill for one resident vs five is just ridiculous. The gardeners can do a much better job getting up those dead pine needles. Thanks
Property Manager at Stoneridge Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you so for your review. Your feedback is important to us. Trash pricing fluctuates depending on how many times we have to pull and haul off trash. The bill also depends on the size of your apartment and how many people are staying in the home. As for the pine needles, we couldn't agree more and are currently working with our landscape company to come up with a better solution for cleaning up dead pine needles. Please reach out to us at any time if you would like to discuss these items in further detail. We truly appreciate you as a resident.
Close to Bart, relatively safe, good community, tentative staff

I love my unit and choice of a quiet location. EV charging amenity is insufficient for demand. Staff reduction due to COVID 19 means moderate to unreasonable delays in needed attention to unit function. I am a senior with disabilities and Have been waiting 3.5 months for safety grab bar to be installed in my shower.
Property Manager at Stoneridge Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our community. We understand your concerns and are excited to let you know we are adding additional staffing. We're hoping to get someone hired on soon. As for your grab bars, please contact our leasing office and ask for the community manager so I can follow up on this request. We're happy to have you as a resident at Stoneridge.
I have been living at Stoneridge apartment for about 4 months now and so far my living experience has been great. The only thing Im missing right now is to be able to grill my salmon on patio, using gym and pool. Other than that so far so good
I had a terrible experience at Stoneridge Apartments.
I have lived her for years and really enjoy it
The Bad: All management cares about here is squeezing every last cent that they can from you. I recently had the great fortune of my lease ending and so found a new rental about a month prior and was able to vacate a few weeks early. That, then, left me a few weeks to thoroughly clean the apartment and, boy, did I. Shampooed the carpets, scrubbed the walls, etc. And still I had ~$500 knocked off my deposit for various "cleaning fees". I asked for proof that that was necessary a month ago I was told "we'll get back to you". Wish I had known that would happen before my wife and I spent 10 hours deep cleaning the unit ourselves. The whole business model is just feels wildly dishonest. The Good: The gym is really nice and when things broke maintenance was normally pretty quick to get to it.
Safe place.
Safe community, the grounds are kept clean.
Maintenance here is some of the worst I've seen. Multiple requests need to be submitted along with contact with community or corporate management before anything gets done. But then expect multiple visits without work being completed.
Comfortable place to live. Too many dogs barking during the day-constantly.
Easy, convenient leasing process. Good liveable space and great gym. Wish the dog poop was better cleaned up and parking more convenient and wish we had bike racks.
