Way overpriced not worth it! They have solar panels above our apartments to get money off of their residents while we still have to pay electricity separately. Pool has been closed for months but yet still get charged the full amount to not be working on it.

We are sorry to hear about your experience at Stoneleigh. The property is now under a new owner and a new management. A total property renovation is undertaken in the exterior and interior, including all amenities. Pool had to be repaired, therefore, it was closed for a few months. It is now open. The solar panels electricity pays for electricity used in shared spaces, including amenities, gym, BBQ, clubhouse, etc
Parking situation a total nightmare if you don’t work a traditional 8-5 job. Threatened multiple times with being towed when my only choice was parking in front of leasing office. Refrigerator quit working. Maintenance came for 1 full minute and never fixed it. My cameras saw you ;). Rent increase with every lease renewal. New management nitpicks tenants for leaving one pair of shoes outside during a pandemic, yet says nothing to others who leave BBQ pits out, other junk, and smoke weed all night. Went downhill once covid hit and Alex left.
Mngmt is excellent. Maintenance request(s) are attended to quickly. Pool is always lookin’ kept up. I’m happy the staff here cares about it’s residents.
This place has gone downhill past year. AC units breaking down, maintenance does its best but nothing gets done. New paint job on exteriors is like putting lip stick on a pig. Place was nice 2-3 years ago but with new management I am being generous with 1 star.
Apartments are good and management is really helpful. Enjoying my stay.

I really enjoy the cleanliness of the complex. The management and staff are great. Always have been polite and prompt when a request is made. Maintenance personal go the extra mile to greet you and conversate. Stoneliegh also has breakfast and dinner gatherings for tenants to fellowship and for staff to get acquainted with there tenants. Alex is especially welcoming and always has a smile on her face. This is a safe and friendly place to live.

I have lived here for a couples of years and absolutely love it. Paula and Alex are AMAZING!! They have been there for me when I needed a work order to when I was having a bad and needed a listening ear. Maintenance (Saul) is FABULOUS, they take care of issues in a timely manner. Paying rent online is awesome as I have a busy schedule at times. I love it here and the staff!

I was looking for an apartment and went to see these. Lady was chit chatting with some man and only gave me a brochure. I went to get more info and maybe see a room. She didn't even make time to answer my questions, so I just threw the brochure away. It's information you can get online.

This is a very nice and friendly place to live. We felt comfortable as soon as we walked into the office. The staff is really nice and maintenance man is kind and works hard to get your repairs done. We have been here over two years. It is a nice home for us. It is quiet and our neighbors are nice, which is a plus. Rules here are simple and just common sense. We think it's the best place to live in Harlingen.

The manager of this apartment is so rude. My father, who was a resident, had suffered a stroke. I had to come down from Oklahoma to tend to his affairs such as ensuring his rent is paid so his belongings will be safe. I had asked to use their computer in their community building to print out a W-2 form for my fathers taxes. After the form loaded, I noticed that I could input his information using the keyboard. After a couple minutes of inputting his information, the manager came out with a stern look. She went on to tell me how I'm not a tenant and that I need to get off the computer because I might break it. And also, I cannot use the pool or the BBQ area. I then went back to Oklahoma only to return 2 weeks later to move my dads belongings to an Assisted Living community. It was around 4:00 PM on a Saturday when my brothers came down with a trailer to help. We backed the trailer onto the grass to get closer to the apartment. My brother backed the trailer on an already established tire marks in the grass. Apparently from other people moving in or out. I had blocked the handicap parking spot so no one would park there as we were loading up the trailer so my brother could pull out when we were finished. I had my radio blaring from the car to listen to music as we were working. As we were finishing up, that same manager who had an issue with me using their computer approached us at 5:22 PM treating us as if we were criminals telling us how people had been calling her about us. She commented on how if we damaged her property, the resident (my dad who had a stroke) would have to pay for damages. And that we needed to leave or she was going to call the cops for trespassing. We were there to ensure my fathers belongings were taken care of because he isn't able to do so. I could understand if we were moving out with the radio blaring at 9:00 PM or later on any night but not at 5:22 PM on a Saturday evening. Her unprofessional attitude and lack of leadership abilities needs to be known by any future resident wishing to reside at Stoneleigh Apartments. She's that type of person who likes power and doesn't know how to deal with people and understanding about her residents situations. It's black or white with this manager. Nothing in between. Beware!
I'm going on my second year at these wonderful apartments. The management staff is great. Things get fixed within a day of reporting. The people in the complex are great, the staff host a party or bowling night for their tenants every month. I'm currently living here while my family is back home in Utah, doing this due to my job. I do not have my family here, but the staff here makes it feel like their family. Also it's nice and peaceful.
