Stonegate Meadows Apartments

Absolutely a horrible place to live. I’ve lived here for a little over a year and have dealt with a massive roach infestation, poor maintenance procedures, horrible insulation, and terrible management. During the winter he prepared to hang blankets over all the broken and uninsulated windows and doors. Be prepared to have roaches in every room and in all your furniture no matter how clean you maintain the place. Prepare to deal with zero communication from the staff when sending inquiries. Prepare to have your maintenance requests shut down and ignored. There is a reason this complex is being sued right now. Stay away. Don’t give your money to these people they don’t care about you.

I came to check out the property because it looked pretty nice in the photos… well I parked in the office lot, walked around looking for the office (which was not labeled) and just walking around for a few minutes I could tell this place is trashy and not taken care of. Doesn’t help there was a cop parked in the leasing office lot! I went to drive around and the yards are full of trash and cloths and seriously about half of the windows are boarded up and if they’re not the shades are all messed up.

I have been living at stonegate Meadows for 7 years now and my apartment is literally falling apart and the maintenance has not come fixed anything and every time you call the front office they be like we'll put the work order in if somebody would be up there and no one never comes

I have been living here for two years when I moved in the first night in my apartment there was a shoot out in the hallway right outside my door they don’t make any repairs my only bathroom kept flooding cause of there pipes are so bad they came out one time to “fix” the water problem the next morning it happened again they stop answering the phone cause I would call every morning due to the bathroom flooding every morning the on site laundry rooms don’t even waste your time there all moldy walls falling apart water leaking from ceiling you can literally see the water damage crack heads break in to machines to steal the quarters out of them so we don’t have any washer or dryers they refuse to fix anything but want you to pay that rent on time don’t waste your time or money here this is a place you come to if you have no where else to go

I would not recommend this place to anyone!! I have only been here or 3 months and have already had to deal with mice, roaches, clogged sink, no hot water. Numerous inspections but no repairs being made. EVERYTIME I call to place a maintenance order or check the status of one already submitted I am told that maintenance is short staffed and they cannot tell me when my issues will be fixed. I have had to call the OWNERS of this property due to severe water damage. The staff does these unit inspections I have had 3 or 4 already this year (May of 2019) and I just got a letter stating that on May 29th 2019 it will be another one. My complaint is that with ALL the inspections I do not see any repairs being done. In my opinion, the point of inspections is to find out what is wrong then repair. The water damage has been neglected and I am sure this building has structural and foundation problems.

Your car will be stolen or broken into. They stole a child's back pack out of her parents car with her home work in it. Your tags will be stolen. The lawn service crack a car window with his weed wacker and did not report it. A neighbor saw it happen and reported. Several apartments broken into. A man was stabbed to death on the property. There have been shoot outs on property. DO NOT MAKE THIS PLACE YOUR HOME.

I like this Apartment because I haven't found a Apartment with 2 Bed 2Bath Just light in KCMO for $599 a mouth with walk in Shower in master bedroom and a great location.
