Larkspur is one of Bend’s most sought-after neighborhoods, and the reasoning behind its popularity is clear. Along with being just three miles from Downtown Bend, Larkspur surrounds residents with the natural beauty Oregon is known for. The neighborhood is located directly south of Pilot Butte Neighborhood Park, which is known for its scenic overlook. This family-friendly area has great schools and an active neighborhood association that hosts community events like holiday lights shows and picnics with live music. Property Ratings at StoneBriar Apartments
I sold my home and retired to StoneBriar. It was the best choice for me because I love the neighborhood. Whole Foods, Costco & Safeway are across the street. St. Charles Hospital, Summit Health, CORA and many doctors offices are close by. As of May of 2021 I have been a resident for 8 years. Over the years things have changed but not much. The complex is well maintained and safe. I have a 2 BR 2 Bath apt with 1,139 sq ft. THE STORAGE IS WONDERFUL. They have many cabinets in the bathroom for towels, blankets, pillows, sheets, etc. There are shelves above the washer and dryer that I utilize for many things. The master bedroom is huge and I easily fit all the furniture from my house. The long closet is perfect for all my longer clothes. The second bedroom is my office and the large walk in closet has a rack I placed on one side for pantry items and beverages. The side and back closet rods are for short items (blouses, vests, sweaters). I also store luggage and tools on the floor. I love my kitchen and do a lot of cooking. It was designed to put everything at your fingertips. It has many cabinets and a pantry. Also, there is even an exterior storage closet where I keep a freezer and shelves with Christmas decorations. Are there other apartments in town. Of course. BUT most are smaller and rents are higher. Amenities here are nice also but were suspended during COVID. Hopefully they will resume soon. Join us and enjoy.
Be very wary of this group. They treat you like royalty when you apply. Do not sign anything until you see the actual apt you are getting and then turn on every faucet, carefully check the appliances. They are mostly original issue back in 2003. Cheapest available. Run the dishwasher, turn on all stove coils, turn on oven, Flush the toilets, even lift the tank cover. Try to get a sense of who your neighbors will be because the walls are paper thin and you will get no help from management if you complain. My best advice would be GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
