The city of Laredo is rooted deep in the Lone Star State. Not only will you find affordable apartments, you’ll be encompassed by culture, as only one would in Texas.
Founded over 250 years ago on the Rio Grande River, Laredo tourism is pretty huge and the sites consist of San Agustin Plaza and the Republic of the Rio Grande Museum. When it comes to shopping, you’ll be impressed by all the opportunities surrounding you. Locals enjoy the brands at Mall de Norte as well as the Outlet Shoppes at Laredo.
At San Bernardo Avenue, you’ll find 40 blocks of shops selling authentic finds and baked goods. The culinary scene is excellent with a bounty of authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants. Residents here are serviced by the Laredo International Airport and three major roadways.
Texas A&M International University calls this city home, just north of Lake Casa Blanca Park. This state park features waterskiing, picnic pavilions, and trails.

Property Ratings at Stone Knights
I have lived here for about 7 years and I love it! Management is very helpful and always available, concerns are addressed asap and the community is quiet and safe.
I have made Stone Knights my home for 5 years. My 3 bedroom apartment is comfortable and the staff is respectful, responsible and friendly. I feel safe surrounded by friendly neighbors. The maintenance crew responds to work orders in a timely manner completing tasks efficiently.
We enjoy living here at Stone Knights apartments. Easy access to the loop, grocery stores, schools. and to restaurants. The apartment are nice, very spacious. The kitchen has an island with nice countertops, it comes with appliances like microwave, refrigerator, stove, washer/dryer, and a fire extinguisher. I like the balcony, and it has a storage room. The bedrooms are nice and roomy. The master bedroom has a walk in closet. We live in a two bedroom and it has two bathrooms. One has a shower and the other is a combo (tub & shower). There is plenty of parking and you have the opportunity to pay for a reserve parking. And management and maintenance are quick to help with any concerns and issues. My neighbors are also very friendly. Good place to live.
We have been living here for just over a year and a half, and our experience has been excellent. The management team is responsive and attentive; whenever I have a question or concern, they address it promptly with kindness and support. The apartments are quite spacious, especially our two-bedroom unit. The kitchen features an attractive island and beautiful countertops, making it a lovely space to cook and gather. With two bathrooms, we have more than enough room to accommodate our needs. While I would prefer if the master bedroom included a bathtub, the bathrooms are still well-designed and functional. The master bedroom boasts a walk-in closet that offers ample storage space. Improvements are underway in the BBQ pit area, which is a great addition for social gatherings. Parking is plentiful, and some areas have recently been upgraded to enhance convenience. Maintenance services are also efficient in resolving any issues that arise. The location is ideal, with grocery stores, restaurants, and schools all within close proximity, making our living experience even more enjoyable.
Our family loves to spend the weekends on our large living room. Kitchen has a lovely countertop. the management provide us excellent service when needed. They have a great grill next to the pool we frequently use it.
I love my spacious and well located apartment, I receive great attention from staff when needed. My family really enjoy to spend the time in our large living room. Great place to live.
We have been with them since April 2018. The pool is tiny, the 'gym' has only about 3 machines. The apartment is beautiful and big, the kitchen counter tops are gorgeous . They have an area where you can cook out but its just a square of cement with about 6-8 old rusty grills. No chairs, no tables nor anything that can provide shade in that area. The management is not the best. On our first year they told us our rent was going to be a certain amount then about 10 months later they told us we owed $120 on trash and fumigating fees. This caught us by surprise since thought it was already included in the rent like the lady said when we signed the contract. And they took almost a year to let us know about those fees!! Our restroom has some type of mold. We submitted a request until they finally went to our apt. to 'fix' it, they only put paint over it and said it wasn't mold. This happened again within a month and again they just put paint over it.
I love my apartment but there's a lot of things management needs to fix. I can't believe they clam to have a playground and what they call a "dog park" is literally a lil space next to the trash, its more like a raccoon park. Yet they charge 50$ a month for pets, but for what its not like the rooms have carpet. Management is the worst! 5 months to change a broken window a month to change a light bolt. Parking lot makes no sens it a ugly mess not everyone owns only one car. The gym is a small room with 1 working treadmill everything else is broken. BUT the apartments are really nice that's the only reason i'm giving them 3 stars.
