Joliet is a large suburban city located about 45 miles southwest of the Chicago Loop. Spanning the Des Plains River, the city’s thriving Downtown district on the east bank is home to many of the community’s most popular attractions, including the Harrah’s casino and entertainment complex, the historic Rialto Square Theatre, and countless bars and restaurants. This area is also where you’ll find Slammers Stadium, home of the Joliet Slammers baseball team.
As one of the biggest cities in Illinois, the rental market in Joliet is enormous, with a diverse selection of options ranging from budget-friendly studio apartments to more upscale suburban single-family homes. While Joliet hosts its own diverse local economy, the city’s affordable rental options and easy access to Chicago via road or Amtrak service has made it a popular choice for commuters as well.

Honestly, this place and community were amazing to us. This was our first apartment, and it ended up being great. We ended up living here about a year and a half. The reviews stating there are bugs is false. Never once did we see a bug. Maintenance was quick and responsive. Sometimes maintenance orders could take awhile because of shipping (COVID supply chain issues). The neighbors here are EXTREMELY friendly. Our dog escaped the first week we moved in, and our neighbors came knocking on the door to give us information about our dog being found. Neighbors helped each other when the cars would get snowed in. We lost our keys, and they replaced them with no charge because we were good tenants. Moving out was not an issue at all too, very smooth process. No negative experience here AT ALL. Yes, the AC wasn’t the best and the apartment would get hot, but that’s majority of apartments with wall units. Be a good tenant and you will have nothing but positive experiences here, we loved our time here.
DROP YOU'RE RENT CHECK OFF AT THE DOOR AND PREY THAT YOU NEVER NEED MAINTENANCE OR NEED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER. Seriously, this place is a joke. Save your money and time. Find somewhere nicer or cheaper. The manager here is complete sh@t and the maintenance crew arent much better

Our general office and maintenance teams operate dedicated, bilingual text lines for all tenant concerns. If you couldn't get ahold of us, you were not trying.
These people have bed bugs and cockroaches! My kid's were waking up with bites. Stay away!! Heat is supposed to be included but it doesn't heat up the apartment. So you're force to use the electric one's which of course you pay for.
Property Manager at Stone Falls, Responded To This Review
While both uncommon, roaches and bedbugs are very different problems. Roaches arise due to food left out for extended periods or an unswept floor. Bedbugs come from an unlucky hotel mattress. Even the worst roaches we are able to purge entirely from a building in just a couple weeks. As one might expect, this does typically mean we will ask the messy individual to leave. Bedbugs, on the other hand, require close cooperation with tenants because if the procedures are not followed precisely, bugs can return from the eggs they laid. Even with this extra requirement, we have had good outcomes. Just this February, I finished up a case of an elderly couple who had stayed at a Hampton Inn and brought home some uninvited. Thanks to a community tip, we acted with the nest fully contained in that very first mattress. All furniture and adjoining rooms were treated, then all adjoining units got a just-in-case barrier treatment, then that mattress went into a bedbug bag, then finally all linens were put through a high-temperture wash cycle. We were able to keep them on as tenants, and we haven't had a problem since. All this to say, I severely doubt the veracity of this review. I wish you the best.
My car had sticker and they don't have enough parking lot during construction. I parked my car next to the other car but out of lot then next day $172 to release my car from Dick tow service. Just 1 car included sticker you have to pay if you have extra $29 for water. Heat is included but not warm in the Winter. All the rest pay pay. They get your car info but then they send a letter to request you update car's info again. You can get bed bugs and other bugs.
