Sterling Oxford

I’ve been living here for a year and want to share something. First of all, as the apartment is near the street, the traffic is very loud even when windows are closed. Also, if someone is talking in the corridor, you can hear them clearly. Otherwise, it is quite quiet. There is a need for maintenance about once a month. After submitting the maintenance request, usually someone will come to repair it the next day. But other than that, the leasing office does not reply to the messages in the email/text message/portal at all. They also reply optionally, for example, if you send 5 emails, it may take several days for them to reply to one of the messages, which is so disappointing. It feels like they don't exist at all. Amazon's things will be placed in the locker, which is very safe. Other packages deliveries will be placed on the ground. If you don't pick them up for a few hours, they will be stolen. Residents need to pick them up as soon as possible. The ubereats delivers can't come in, and you have to go downstairs to open the door for them every time, which is very troublesome. Other things are not bad. The storage in the bathroom and kitchen is good, and the furniture is well maintained.

I had the pleasure of working with Deja Williams during my search for an apartment and her timely responses made a stressful process so much easier for me. I am very pleased with my overall experience living at Haste. I had a very smooth move-in/move-out and all of my questions/concerns were quickly resolved. Despite managing properties in the very busy/crazy downtown area where demands are often high, Sterling demonstrated exceptional professionalism during my time here.

I have had a great experience living in this property. The building is well-maintained, and any issues are addressed quickly and professionally. We at CIP have a specific group of students that stay at the Haste property. Deja is patient, and responsive to any of the concerns being raised. She handles everything respectfully and responsibly. Our students have many things they like to address, Deja has always been someone easy to communicate their concerns with.

The apartment is extremely good and convenient! It is very closed to campus. People working in the leasing office are very friendly and helpful! Clean room and well maintenance. Smooth checking in and releting process!

I am impressed with the Staff's exceptional service, promptness and efficiency. I would like to make a special mention of Kyla H. Community Assistant at Sterling Berkeley Collection for getting everything finalized so smoothly, seamlessly and taking effort and time to clarify all my queries.

Not sure how people give a five starts. Each month's utilities are extremely high for some no reason charges. After the leasing staff learned we did not wish to renew our lease, the leasing manager yelled at us over the phone. Never live there again life-time.

I am a resident of Sterling Haste. I suggest that do not rent any apartment from this housing. The staff member tried to hide how the apartment was really looks like by showing me the floor plan (and not allow me to come in see the apartment by the excuse of someone lived there). When I moved in, we figured out the apartment is not as big as the floor plan showed. Beside, it is very noisy. The staff members are very bureaucratic. E.g, when we tried to move in, we had to wait for days for them to issue the key fobs. When we tried to add/remove roommates and kept saying:" That's it!" and hang up. We pay our rent and we even not received our key fob to enter the building. Horrible!

Recently toured with my daughter and loved the location. Right across the campus. 1st choice apartment for fall 2022

I walked in for a tour and the staff was friendly and offered me coffee before taking me on a tour! They had a convenient model unit in the office. The upgrades for the units are beautiful. At the end of the tour the staff took the time to help guide me through the leasing process and helped narrow down floor plan options!

Recently toured for Allston! Location is conveniently downtown and a quick walk to campus! Staff was helpful during and after my tour!

I did a virtual tour recently. The agent was friendly and helped answer all my questions. This is a great option for when I return back to school.
