Rocklin, California sits just 21 miles northeast of Sacramento along I-80. This busy city is more than a suburb -- it is home to Sierra College and William Jessup University. It is filled with shopping plazas, such as the large Blue Oaks Town Center, and a section of Granite Drive is known as "Toy Row." (These toys are for grown-ups -- such as RVs and boats.) Rocklin is directly north of Roseville and residents enjoy easy access to Westfield Galleria at Roseville, providing even more shopping.
You'll enjoy fantastic mountain views when you move to a Rocklin apartment -- the city is surrounded by the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Sutter-Butte mountain range. Quarry Park features hiking trails and an amphitheater where concerts are often held.
Rocklin has a secret -- the Secret Ravine, that is, which played a large role during the California Gold Rush. Later, Rocklin became a major granite-mining town -- be sure to take some of the Quarry History Tours after moving to Rocklin.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Stanford Heights
I lived in the Stanford heights apartment for just under 2 years. When it came time to move out and perform the end of lease inspection, they added on all sorts of fees. In this process they charged us well over our initial deposit we agreed upon in case of any “unnatural wear and tear” (there was no “unnatural” wear and tear, yet we were charged) We were good tenants, left everything in great condition, had respect for the property, neighbors, and followed the rules. We feel we were treated very unfairly by CTL management, and I know this is not how you treat your customers within a business. (Same rules apply to apartment management) TLDR Money pinching management.
Property Manager at Stanford Heights, Responded To This Review
Hello and thank you for sharing your feedback as a previous resident of one of our communities. We regret that you have had some concerns regarding your final accounting. We try to provide transparency for the types of charges that can occur after move out to bring your previous home back to move in ready condition by providing turnover cost estimates and expectations with our move out confirmation packet when you submitted your notice. If you have questions on the charges we invite you to reach out to the property manager of Stanford Heights for assistance. We appreciate your time as a resident with us and we look forward to clarifying any questions you have soon.
The apartment property is well-kept and maintenance is super quick to respond. One of them is always friendly and waves to everyone passing by. You NEVER hear your neighbors like at all and even they are friendly and will keep to themselves. The only thing is to be aware of is parking because depending on which building you live in, there will be no parking spaces, especially if you work late. Besides that, it's a brisk walk to the elementary school and less than 10 minutes driving to the high school or middle school. It's location is perfect!
