A variety of lofts and apartments fill the streets of Syracuse's Westside, beckoning residents to the many local parks and green spaces. Kids and adults play baseball in Skiddy Park, while Burnet Park features a nine-hole golf course, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, and many sports courts for neighborhood use. Stroll through Ward Bakery Park to see artwork designed by local school kids working in tandem with architecture students from the local Syracuse University.
Westside residents head to West Genesee Street to run errands and grab a bite to eat, or they venture to the east side of the neighborhood, bordering downtown Syracuse. Beer and music lovers knock back a cold one at Kitty Hoynes Irish Pub and Restaurant, and enjoy live music and craft beers at the Empire Brewing Company.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at St. Patrick's Lofts
I loved my time living here. The building is kept clean, maintenance requests are taken care of quickly, and the apartments are spacious, updated and quiet. Also, people are friendly. I miss living here. Dan and his team are doing a graat job!
Every morning I am woken up by the sounds of my neighbor using the bathroom. I can hear everything. Later in the day I can hear every word they say while on the phone. If they're on speaker phone, I can usually hear the person on the other end, too. The exterior walls are not much better. As soon as the weather is warm enough, every person in the area with a motorcycle, loud exhaust, or broken muffler will make sure you are aware of their presence at least 3 blocks away. Also, there is a basketball court in the building. Any time a ball hits the backboard or the ceiling of the gym, you can hear a loud thud and rattle. If there is a tournament, there will be noise all day. In the winter, the ground keepers use leaf blowers to clear snow from the sidewalks. You will be woken up at 5:00 am. In the spring and summer they will wake you up with either a lawn mower or weed-eater. Again, at 5:00 am. A family member of mine lives in mid-town Manhattan. Their apartment is quieter than mine. Try to negotiate earplugs or soundproofing into your lease. I wish I did!
