Property Ratings at St. Andrews Apartments
Moved in and wasn’t permitted to see the unit I’d be moving into prior. Roach infestation since I’ve moved in thanks to a dirty next door neighbor. Hasn’t been fixed still because of this despite weak bug treatment attempts. Place smells like smoke and wasn’t cleaned before I moved in besides maybe a lackluster wipe down. No to low maintenance was done prior to moving in to make the place look better (shoddy patch jobs, doorframes missing chunks of wood, etc.). Shared hallway area of complex is always dirty. Can’t wait to escape this place but sadly that’ll be awhile.
Roaches in the laundry rooms that spread around to other units.
When we first moved into the apartment half of the wall sockets blew out and just stopped working. There were small inconveniences here and there and obviously we didn't want to continue living there for longer than a year if necessary, but we didn't expect it to get as bad as it did. The apartments are incredibly old and many of the units that the landowner installed were too much/too new/advanced for the electrical wiring. Our entire building caught fire a few days after they replaced our Thermostat units for these "fancy" touch screen units that short circuited every time the AC was turned on and tripped the breakers. Ironically they had left a note saying they were going to try and "fix" the electrical system just hours before the place went up in smoke. Every tenant has been put out of a home, every tenant is now homeless because of them trying to "fix" what didn't need to be fixed. Pointless upgrades. Wasted money. I'm so annoyed LOL don't move here unless you're out of options. It's actually dangerous .
