Property Ratings at Springdale Glen
Poor management and maintenance, they don’t care about their tenants
I’ve lived at Springdale Glen for six years and have generally had a positive experience—until today. This morning, I encountered a receptionist who was extremely rude and disrespectful, and it left me feeling very disappointed and disrespected as a long-term resident. Additionally, I’ve had ongoing issues with the maintenance team. They often come to address problems but leave them unresolved, and when I follow up with management, I feel like I’m treated as though I’m the problem for reporting it. The treatment I received today was unacceptable, and it’s unfortunate that things have come to this point. Given the amount of money I’ve paid to live here over the years, I expected better. I’m grateful that my lease is ending soon, and I’ve decided not to renew.
I have lived here for 4 years and for the first time since moving in, things are moving in the right direction. I don't know if the owners have changes or just the office staff, but now the trash is being picked up and my maintenance concerns are being addressed promptly. I hope they keep it up.
The completely lied to me. I applied to an apartment and got approved I was given a deadline to pay fee through their third party company to pay before move in and I paid the fee by the deadline just to find out they cancelled my application and told me they gave the apartment to someone else. All within a matter of 4 days.
Prices have went up but not much about the apartment has changed. It does not give the ambience of the picture at all. Communication is horrible and staff all over the place. Best part about this place is the location.
This is your warning to not move here. Paper thin walls, garbage and dog poop everywhere, obnoxious neighbors. Multiple families living in apartments so good luck if you live either above or below them because you’ll get no peace at all. No one here respects quiet hours at all whatsoever. Rats the size of a cat roaming around the garbage area. Management does not care about any complaints or troubles you’re having. Definitely not renewing my lease here. You get what you pay for but if you want to live comfortably, don’t move here.
Moving in was horrible and live here is worse. No need to publish my name because nothing will get fixed in my apartment till my lease is up.
I like the Springdale glen I have good experience except some issue
My experience was okay, the outdoor area was not well kept and horrible odors from surrounding apartments. The noise from outside during sleep hours were ridiculous.
These are apartments are very very decent. I have been living in the clarkston area for a two years now and I love it. The staff are very friendly and professional, there maintanience is usually always there willing to fix any problem I’ve ever had. Overall the community is awesome. I’m glad I moved to this area. I give them 5 stars. Thank you guys. Keep up the good work
Customer service is not a priority, the agents and property manager could use more training, no one answers the phone or returns calls.
This is one of the best locations in Metro Atlanta. We are near everything we want to be near to, while having the international flavour that Clarkston offers. Our Townhouse apartment was just remodeled, with granite countertops and high end fixtures. It's a ginormous complex, with great walking and state of the art fitness center and lovely pool. 1500 Oak is a great place to live!
The only thing stopping me from giving the apartment is the bugs. I have had my apartment sprayed 3 times and they roaches are still here. I have had to resort to combat and boric acid to keep these things abay.
It's a very nice and a quiet neighborhood. They did a great job in maintaining a clean and beautiful environment.
I moved to Springdale Glen last August. This was my first apartment. I never rented anything before. When I first moved here, everything seem alright. As months passed I started to experience certain things. I wanted to move because of my roommate but the leasing was telling me and my mom different things. I really don't like the leasing agents attitudes. They come off very rude to me, well except Greg. You can ask the simplest question and they have an attitude. Most of the socket plugs in my room doesn't work. The air went out a few times, but it was fix within days. Overall, the area is not bad. If the leasing agents work on their attitude and adjust and update certain things Springdale Glen would be even better.
Before moving into Springdale Glen apartment homes, I viewed several other property's in the area, some really nice and some well... not so much. The reasons I decided to choose Springdale Glen were several, First the rent was reasonable which is a major part of choosing a home. Second I have small children and I wanted to make sure we were in a safe neighborhood, while this area is not the best it's definitely not the worst. Third the inside of the apartments are nice the living area is big and spacious. You can choose from modern updated kitchen and bathroom or go for the original style apartments for a discount rate, and even those are super cute. I have lots of closet space and a balcony in back. Fourth if you don't have a vehicle your close to tons of stores, shops & restaurants. The Grounds could use some updating. The office staff are friendly and respond to maintenance issue quickly. The park area is a little dinky and really needs some fixing up. Overall I'd rate Sringdale Glen as 3 out of 5. Its certainly not a place you want to live for the rest of your life, However for a couple years its a great options. Its affordable and functional okay enough that you can feel comfortable in your home.
I really mean it- my wife and I have a lot of hobbies, and we have a lot of stuff. We also have a toddler. More stuff. But we have plenty of cabinets and closets and shelves and doors that close and stay closed, and all that stuff stays pretty well organized. We also have a ridiculously low energy bill, because we light the apartment with natural light during the day, and open the windows to cool the apartment at night if the weather's right. It was kind of a hassle to purchase and move in a washer and dryer, but the kitchen appliances are pretty decent. I like paying rent online. The end.
Our family has been enjoying a large, quiet, cleanly renovated apartment in Springdale Glen. The current management team is friendly and responsive (I mean, things get fixed in like an hour), the maintenance staff take great care of our building inside and out, and the landscaping is always on point. We haven't had any bugs in our unit, but we have had to submit to removing our things from the kitchen/ pantry area three different times for pest control treatments. That's our only complaint (aside from the lackluster Taco Bell down the street), but- better safe than sorry, I guess?
