With its spectacular mountain views and numerous palm trees, Chino is a favorite city in San Bernardino County for good reason. The city is adjacent to Chino Hills State Park, a popular area in the Santa Ana Mountains foothills for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Chino is also home to Prado Regional Park, a popular park with a fishing lake, hiking and biking trails, campgrounds, a disc golf course, picnic areas, horseback riding, and a shooting range where shooting events were held during the 1984 Summer Olympics.
As a key city of the Inland Empire, Chino has a long history as a hub for agriculture, especially dairy farming. The city's slogan reflects its agricultural roots: Where Everything Grows. While it is much more suburban today, the city still retains some of its rural feel. The city is award-winning and is often used as a filming location. Downtown Chino hosts a variety of events, including a weekly farmers market.

Property Ratings at Spring Tree Apartments
Since September 2020 I met a ton of great people. Staffs great: I love the scenery and to wake up and look out is amazing.
Spring Tree is very well kept for being an older complex. There are many units from singles to 4 bedrooms. Two pools, three laundry rooms and a decent gym. The parking a tight due to there being three apartment complexes on the street. At Springtree, a garage is given to tenants for no extra fees. Shopping is super close and there are tons of food choices. You are right in the heart of Chino. The office staff are great and put your needs first. The maintenance men are always friendly and get your work orders completed in a timely fashion.
This place has change so much over the years for the worse. Will be moving soon The new tenants must have lied on their applications some kind of way, rude, dirty, throw trash everywhere. The sprinkle systems water the concrete and you get wet all the time. PLEASE tell me why the world do the lawn crew come every week on Thursday blowing/cutting the freaking blower/grass for hours before 9 and after 12 noon WTF their is nothing to cut in a week, try every two weeks. Also you cannot not rest, they should be cutting grass on the weekend SATURDAY. This is a rude schedule to the tenants. Will be moving ASAP. You raise the rent every year to force good tenants to leave. You need to really have random checks for tenant occupants this place is packed with people who are not on the lease, too many people living here and people walking the parking lot all hours. I might as well live in Los Angeles least I know what to expect. I seen other bad reviews which are so true!!!!!!!!!!
I moved into my Studio apartment in April of 2017. I looked and looked everywhere and now apartment complex had an opening, except Springtree. I walked in hoping it would be something I could afford and it was right in my ballpark. I was able to move into a brand new apartment. New floors, walls recent painted, new dishwasher and new sink. It was perfect. I love this place so much and I don't ever want to move. The people who live there are like a family. I love how the kids play outside and can feel safe. I love that I have the convenience of the gym it beats playing for a membership. My neighbors are excellent I have no complaints about this place at all. Let's talk about location. This is a great location to live. It's right off of the freeway and close to the Shoppes in Chino Hills. The most important thing before I go and the reason why I will continue to renew my lease. The Manager GINGER and SANDRA. Those two are the sweetest helpful and genuine women I have ever met. If I need a work order they put it in right away and it gets done the same day. They genuinely care about who lives in this complex. They both do the best they can to accommodate each resident as best possible. I have never walked in the office and seen them sad no matter what happens in their life they show up to work and always have a smile on their face. They provide excellent customer service and that's what I base my rating off of. I would have never moved into this complex if the manager was a rude and or disrespectful. So, thank you both GINGER and SANDRA for making my experience a Springtree the best.
Honestly the worst place ever! They say they’ll put your work order in but you literally wait almost two months to get seen. I was showering with cold water for almost 4months till I again for the 5th time told them something. Still a terrible shower. This place is horrible.
Spring Tree is the worst place to live or to try to raise a family they water the concrete and wastes lots of water here at Springtree during our time of drought here in California there is no place for the children to play they are always rude to the children when they are in the pool every Thursday morning they start leaf blowing for no reason this just gives the maintenance men something to do to try to occupy their day I can say the majority of the maintenance men are really nice the windows are very old you might as well have no windows you can hear everything the wind comes through there's a big gap in between the doors the people at the front office are completely nosey very rude they will tell everyone your business anything that happens at Spring tree every other occupant at Springtree will know about it all I can say is just really think twice before moving here this place is like a compound not a place to live I wrote a review a few weeks ago and it got removed no one here at Springtree want anyone to know the real way it is you can talk to anyone that has lived here in spring tree and they will tell you that they have had problems with the front office and this is not a very safe place to live there's been a shooting at Skate Express there's always homeless people sleeping around on the ground and one more thing the parking here is brutal be prepared to walk a half a mile after working or carrying groceries because you will never get a parking space close to your home or even in this complex unless you keep your garage completely empty thank you for reading my review good luck and please stay away from this place unfortunately I'm still here and I'm trying my best to get out oh and not to mention the apartment complex gets one water bill and it is broke up in between how many people live in your apartment not by how much water you actually use in your apartment
Pro for this apartment. This apartment comes with a gym, 2 pools and a Sauna room, which it's great compare to other community already. Staff and repair guy are nice and helpful. Gated communicate makes this area pretty safe and quite overall. Plenty of laundry rooms and trash area, so you don't have to walk miles and waiting in line all the time. Location is great, close to 60 freeway and central has everything you need for grocery and restaurant. Internet works great with TWC 300mbps. Overall, it's a well maintenance community. Con for this apartment. Don't shower during the peak hour like any apartment. Parking can be a hassle if you work late night shift. Apartment is kind of old, you can feel the wood floor in the kitchen has being there forever. Carpet smell weird at first, maybe it's because of new carpet. Upstairs can get really hot, but this apply to all apartment. It will be great if every apartment comes with garage.
