The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Southfield Apartments
The location may not be ideal (can't walk to much), but the community is friendly overall and the property managers help to take care of any issues that arise. There are laundry facilities nearby, but not in each building, which can suck during bad weather. Generally well-kept, but the back lots by the tenant parking are a bit sketchy. I'd recommend it overall.

There are many other places to live here (for right around the same price with many better amenities). All of their appliances are incredibly old and have many different issues. Their staff is incredibly rude and you are in for a real treat if you ever have to have the maintenance crew fix anything. Upon doing so, he will be incredibly rude to you and tell you how the issues are your doing and not at all because they are 25 yrs old. I had an issue the day I moved in and it took 3 weeks to fix. Soon, another issue happened and each time he went on and on about how it was my fault the appliances were having issues. The last time, I had to ask him to leave my apartment. Unless you work across the street at the oak creek diner, do not have a car, and are in a wheelchair and cannot walk, DO NOT LIVE HERE! I was new to the area and within a month I have found many other apartments for very similar prices that have all new appliances, that are larger apartments, and very clean and friendly staff. This has been the worst mistake I have made, but will learn from it. If you do not believe me, go across the street to the Oak Creek diner, or any business close to here and ask them what they have heard about this facility. I wish I would have done a little more research with surrounding companies and people who live in the area before I decided to live here, as most of the other reviews on here are by people who work at the company.
Moved to the metro milwaukee about 6 months ago. Everyone here has been very kind and helpfully on every questions we have. Evey issues we have had we the apartment has been taken care of fast without any questions asked. The parking situation is reasonable with a garage and parking assigned parking spot. There ia also many street parking spot avaliable too. The pool is very nice and heated to 82 degrees. The fitness center is average but is a square for staying fit. All the neighbors are polite and respectful. Very litrle noise is notice from any of the surrounding apartments. Thw apartment are well isolated and hold the temp well.. It's close to the highway and all the needed stores are close by. I would recommend this for any new family or non collage students.
The community is in a good location. Not to far from Milwaukee and a short drive to Chicago. The 2 br/ 2 bath in the older buildings are dated but not bad, but way over priced. In the 2 years we have lived there the rent has rose. We are paying way too much for a subpar unit. The pool is constantly closed due to cleaning or a fellow tenant not following the rules. I would stay in the complex if the rent wasn't constantly rising or more afordable. For the amount that rent has rose we have not seen any improvements in 2 years.
This is an amazing place to live the amenities and the management are great and it's a very clean and spacious place.
The location is great. The community is very quiet and friendly. Very multicultural. I live in one of the older apartment buildings. I have a couple complaints: the kitchen cabinets need updating. There is very little padding under the carpet, which makes for a very cold floor in winter. Its freezing cold concrete. Also cold air comes in through everywhere. I live downstairs on a corner so its hard to keep warm. Laundry room is ok; always available machines. Maintenance is good, got brand new water heater when mine didn't work. And they fixed my dishwasher when it didn't work. Can hear neighbors sometimes, but mine seem to be respectful. I don't see how they can raise rent every year without making updates to anything. thats not right.
2 years in a row constant turnover of staff and nothing gets completed or followed through. Pool also for 2 years poorly kept up. Value of money compared to what you get is poor.
