South Pointe Apartments and Homes

As soon as we visited the property we knew this was our next home. We have been here 3 month. Great amenities. Very good and helpful management and maintenance is on top of any issues that occur. We are very happy to be part of this community.

South pointe is awesome. The management team is amazing, they make sure you feel welcome and at home. Any issues are taken care of very promptly and professionally. I would recommend this complex for a great home in foley.

The people in the office are great, they makes us comfortable living in this apartment, theres lots of activities. Been living here for almost 2 years and i can tell that this apartment complex is so great.

Nothing but a good experience since we have moved into the complex. The management team and all other staff we have encountered has been welcoming and friendly. We love as a family that they have different amenities and activities to do year round. The staff also does a very good job at keeping the amenities and grounds clean and kept up with!!

We have had nothing but fun here. The activities,management,maintenance are top notch. Come try them, no regrets

My Siamese fur baby snuck out about a week ago. I stopped by the office to ask about putting up missing posters. They took copies of my posters and hung them in the clubhouse, by the mailboxes, posted it on the apartment’s Facebook page, and texted it to tenants to keep an eye out for my cat. I don’t know any other apartments that would go out of their way for a missing pet. I was truly touched. When I found my cat, I stopped in again to let them know and thank them for the help. I walked out with a voucher for the food truck they had scheduled. They decorate for all the holidays, and throughout the year we random treats. I am so grateful to be able to live in a place that knows who I am, and cares about my concerns. I feel truly blessed to have these sweet ladies watching out for me. Thank you guys!!!! You rock!!!!

South Pointe Apartments has become more than a "temporary" stay for me. Aside from the great location, the units are well-appointed, energy efficient & literally soundproof! The private complex grounds, amenities & activities and dedicated staff generate a true and safe "neighborhood" vibe. Becky, Paula and the entire staff work diligently to treat everyone like family - quick to respond to any request. On my move-in day, they welcomed me with such personal care - handling my actual movers' arrival in my absence after receiving news of a sudden family loss. They just took the reins and stepped in for me until I returned days later. That is above and beyond any definition of customer service. Genuine & authentic care and attention - just like true neighbors and family. So thankful to have chosen South Pointe as my new HOME!

Being orginally from the South, my fianance and I relocated from the East Coast region to the Gulf of Alabama. We chose South Pointe Apartments and Homes to be our new home abd neighborhood. From my perspective, these properties are surrounded by the right amount of nature (peaceful) with many amenities, easy accessibility (outlet mall, Walmart, restaurants, etc.), and welcoming neighbors. The team of property and maintenance staff are very responsive and caring. From the first engagement of viewing the property to signing the lease, property management (Tonsmeire Properties) were attentive and provided all the necesssities to ensure our transition was a success. In addition, the friendly, hard-working maintenance staff keeps the property maintained and constantly making improvements although the property is A-1. Overall, the superb personalities and vibe were the main attractions to selecting this property for our new beginnings.

We are so happy we found this gem of a rental community! We love living at South Pointe. The floor plan in our house is great. We especially love the french doors leading to the screened-in sun room. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, super convenient and close to town and shopping. Office management and maintenance staff are professional, friendly and quick to respond to any needs, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. Amenities include an outdoor salt water pool, exercise facility with game room, pet park, and even a little community garden. Frequent events and perks add to the pleasure of living here. If you’re looking for a perfect spot to call home, this is it!

Charming, small and quiet complex with well maintained grounds, pool, gym and dog park. The staff is wonderful and always helpful. My downstairs apt faces the courtyard and has a patio gate. Very convenient for a dog. Huge pool. Quaint gazebo with grill and chairs. Awesome location. Love this place!

New to south pointe but so far have been greeted by the friendliest staff and neighbors! The apartment we moved into is beautiful and even better than the online tour! We have an upstairs unit and love the high ceilings! Also a great area to live in as you have everything you need within ten minutes. This is my third apartment I’ve lived in and it has been the best! Highly recommend south pointe to anyone considering!

A few years ago we began renting from South Pointe and loved it while we were there working on a job in the area. We left the area for a few years and when we came back in 2021 South Pointe was our go to and we love it there. The staff is absolutely wonderful. I would recommend anyone looking for a home or apartment to look here first.

I’ve lived at many different complexes over the years and really have to say that South Pointe stands out as one of the best! The leasing office does so much more than any other place I’ve been at…holiday events, community get togethers, food trucks, you name it! The maintenance and ground crew do an awesome job too. Everything is kept so nice. Really, a great place to live!

The staff is great about responding to our needs! They are super helpful. The buildings are are really well taken care of! I am really glad I chose this apartment complex!

Let me just say this place is amazing! In our short time here we’ve been so pleased to have signed our lease here. Apartment was clean when we arrived and has a great big layout compared to the other apartments we have lived in. We haven’t had any issues with noise and the one time we had an appliance issue maintenance was there and ready to fix it. Maintenance is submitted online which is nice because it keeps record for you. The part that has really wowed us though is the community. The people that live here are so nice and do seem to look after each other. Every week there is a food truck or renter special to a local place in town. They also run awesome specials. The office staff live in the apartment and are involved in its matters. I’ve never had them be unpleasant in any way. They were showstoppers when Hurricane Sally came through. We received many text updates about power, water, and food resources. Awesome place! Glad we found it but wish we could have moved here sooner!

We were living in a 2BDRM/2Bath apartment and out daughter and grandson moved back home. We were in search of a house but were dreading the yard work and maintenance issues. We were lucky and came across South Pointe homes. we found the perfect 3BR.2Bath home with plenty of room inside and out and a great back yard for out grandson right down to the white picket fence. Not to mention yard work is included in the rent. Sarah and Becky were great through the whole process. The application process was easy.

Our son James is so happy we get to move from a one bedroom to a two bedroom!! It’s so nice to have our family grow in a community like this!! We are blessed!! Love it here!!

"Above & Beyond!" That describes living at South Pointe! Every time I turn off Michigan Avenue and take the gentling winding road to our beautiful home, I am reminded of an immaculately maintained All American neighborhood one might find in the back lot of a Hollywood set. The management and maintenance staff is certainly All-Star! And that's why I'm giving South Pointe five BIG stars!

Excellent staff and maintenance. They are available any time of the night and day to help with any maintenance issues that occur. The pool and pool house are always kept exceptionally clean and in working order. The neighborhood is very safe and police patrol regularly. Parking is a little limited but that is one of the only issues these apartments have. Also, the grounds are kept neat and trimmed at all times. There is a community garden for those with a green thumb. The apartments are open and spacey with lots of room for entertaining and relaxing. The appliances are kept very up to date and in style. Overall the best apartment complex I have lived in.

This move has given our whole family hope! We new we needed a change for the entire family and it happened one weekend. My husband and I joked that moving to the gulf would give our family the change we needed and that weekend we packed up our set of 2 year old twin girls and what we could and left. It was a struggle, for almost 2 weeks we looked and finally found an opening at south pointe. We did have to settle and it's not very family oriented. Soon as our lease is up we will move and rent for life would help our family continue this wonderful change for all of our lives.

Over priced even with it's location. Shoddy exterior maintenance standards....especially with the salt air taking it's toll on metal window and door frames...... ie. lots of rust. AC breaks down in the summer. went 3 weeks with average interior temps at 84 degrees last summer. Like most apartment communities, these are owned by an impersonal reality company whose sole aim is to maximize profits, and maintain the property to minimum bare standards till it deteriorates and becomes section 8 housing.

These apartments definitely feel like home. It is an older neighborhood, so yes there are going to problems and the bugs can be rough during the summer. However the staff are always prompt and handle any request quickly. They also go above beyond. I spilled candle wax on my wall and asked them for the paint name so that I could touch it up. They actually came out and took care of it, even though it was 100% my fault. They have also done amazing updates to the floors on the ground level, replacing the carpet in all rooms (except bedrooms) with a vinyl wood pattern, that works great with a dog!
