Excelente lugar para habitar

Son apartamentos amplios y tienen los muebles necesarios para comenzar habitar. Con alberca comunitaria donde los días de verano son muy agradables. Su personal de oficina es muy amable y todos los inconvenientes que pasen en tu apartamento le dan solución ese mismo día. Su prioridad es que tengas una convivencia sana y armoniosa entre vecinos. Fue la mejor decisión que tomamos como familia rentar en South Park Village.

Worst place I've ever lived

This is not a good place to live. I was charged $750 for carpet replacement but they replace the carpet after move out anyway. They will find a way to charge you if you have any animals. I know my dogs did not make any mess on the carpet because they are only in the bedroom when we're sleeping and they're in the bed. I never received proof of any spots on the carpet. I was also charged $250 for "burns from hot water" in the tub. I have never heard of that. How does hot water burn the tub? Isn't that what a tub is made to do? Hold hot water? I never received proof of these burns. I also did not find out about any of these charges until I received a check in the mail minus $1000 that I was expecting. Especially annoying since I emailed Joanne about charges owed, she said she'd get back to me that day and never heard from her. So unprofessional. I moved out over 3 months ago and just got an aggressive email that I owe them $89. First I've heard of this. Unbelievably unprofessional.

Great place to live!!

Love living at South Park Village! Office staff super nice & helpful to whatever I need. Since moving in first week of January, they have updated light fixtures, bulbs & shower heads to energy efficient, and also pressure washed the breezeways completely. Super clean & quiet. The office staff also has activities for tenants such as "Plant day", hidden St Patrick's Day rocks (redeem for prize bags, some with Starbucks gift cards) and Chocolate Day. Sidewalks all around and very dog friendly neighborhood, and all aged tenants.

No parking at night.

The parking lot fills up about 9:00. There may be a few spaces left 100 yards from your apartment. They built massive garages that cost outrageous prices in the middle of the parking lots these take up all the space. Therefore you end up having to park on the curb and then they will threaten to tow you in the morning.

Awesome experience!

We have lived in many apartment communities in the past, and this one is by far the best of them. All of the staff members are very professional and friendly. The whole experience was very inviting and comforting, during our search for a new house to purchase. Should we need an apartment in the future, we would not hesitate to return here.

Great management team!

I moved in this past Friday. I had to work that day and got stuck in traffic on my way to the office to pick up my keys. I wasn't going to make it before they closed. I called Chelsea (my leasing agent) and told her what was happening. She went out of her way to meet me and get me those keys so I could move in as planned. She has been great through this entire process. Beautiful apartments and friendly management.

Awesome Place to Live

Staff is great, love Chelsea and Allison, very pet friendly. The majority of people in the community own pets. Largest dog park I have seen in any complex I’ve visited. Grounds well maintained. A larger pool would be ideal but it is good enough. The grilling area is great. Great for kids as well as those without kids. Maintenance staff respond very timely. Having a dog here means you are in the cool kids club... :-)

I love it here!

I moved in during construction and have watched this place build up. The grounds are kept nice and clean and the fitness center and pool are nice. The staff is always polite and nice when i go into the office and they have fun events once or twice a month. I love it here and would not live anywhere else in Sanford.

Must love dogs

...the barking 24/7, the poop...everywhere, the inconsiderate pet owners. In addition, you can hear everything that goes on around you: what your neighbors watch on TV, the stomping tantrums of the children, the toilets and showers. Parking is dicey and the cars race through like the Indy 500. There is an exit gate by the back exit but it is broken more often than not. The trash compactor gets jammed almost every weekend causing a disgusting pile up of garbage. Reminder emails and notices go out about all of the above but if you are not going to enforce with consequences no one is going to pay attention to them. Somehow the place remains full and once an apartment empties it fills right back up.

Just don’t

Beautiful appartments, Management was awesome, polite and helpful, until you move in. The property is beautiful and the apartments are very spacious. The facilities are nice and convenient, but appearances are not everything. We had stolen property, vandalized cars and unfounded neighbor complaint. Complaints are not handle fairly and they pick and choose what complaints they handle and WHO they coming from. So true about the toilet flushing and shower also, we knew our neighbors higiene schedule. Also, this place should be called Bug Village or Antville!! Also true to a previous comment , they are very quick to blame it on you, and we still waiting for the exterminator. You go to the office with a concern or issue, they treat you with a lot of condescending and dismissal attitude, like your problems have no value. Refrigerator stopped working, you call, they send somebody to make sure is really not working, you don’t hear anything back from them, then two days later they send the same person to make sure the fridge still not working. I’ve seen the responses to the negative comments, like I said condescending.

Nice when I first moved in, then management changed

Bugs!!! This is a major issue. Whenever you tell them about a problem you may incur, they will politely place the responsibility back on you with a snide comment but with a smile. The goal is not your comfort but your money. I have seen all kinds of weird looking bugs that pop up. Instead of them handling the situation they send you to their exterminator and then they will bill you, stating that it's your fault that bugs are in the apartment. "Maybe, you brought them." I have never had any bugs in any apartments but this one. The problem is the only solution they extend is for you to handle it. New staff is inconsiderate and does not care. They will gladly tack on extra fees at your expense. Apartments are nice. Poop and pee is something you see pretty regular. Parking can be frustrating. Public restrooms look like it. Neighborhood is quiet just hope you have no one above your head because they forgot to insulate. You can hear everything and smell weed from smoking neighbors. Hopefully you don't have messy neighbors because they don't enforce them cleaning after themselves. Any complaints are best kept to yourself and it's best to buy a house. We are moving in a month. Mortgage rates are better.

Awesome place, nice apartments with granite countertops, laminate floors and spacious walk-in closets and it's pleasantly quite here. Everyone here is friendly. The grounds are kept really nice by maintenance. And the office staff Allison and Chelsea are really awesome, helpful and understanding! I wish all staff members at apartment complexes were as awesome and customer friendly to encounter as they both are. If you're moving to the Lee County area come visit and make South Park Village your new home!

Good apartment for the money

I read the other reviews and to be fair, the property was under construction so all the parking spaces were not yet available. I moved in 2 months ago and as a single female, I am thankful to live at a property that I don't fear going out alone at night. The property is quite, peaceful, has nice grounds and the management has put out messages to the residents about cleaning up after their dogs, or when they see something wrong. They have activities at the clubhouse for the residents sometimes. For the price and beauty of the apartments....you just won't find this elsewhere in Sanford. Do you hear your neighbor's? Yes, at times...but it's not horrible...try somewhere else and it will be worse. I am very cozy and happy. If I have an issue, management has been good to address it. Don't let the other reviews scare you to live here...come see for yourself and make your own decision. Thanks. Augusta

Disappointing

At first we thought that moving here would be great but within the first week we noticed that we had a bug problem. In addition to the this we have had to deal with hearing the toilet flush every time our upstairs neighbor uses the bathroom. There's nothing like sitting in your living room and hearing a toilet flush. It seems as if the walls are too thin. Let me not forget the parking problem. Many times it's difficult to find a parking space and when this is addressed at the office,you are simply told that the complex is only required to have 1 and a half parking space per unit which clearly makes no sense. The management has no concern for the issues of the residents and they do not provide exceptional services. Spending well over 1000.00 dollars for these high paid projects is absurd. I'm thankful that I only signed a one year lease. This is definitely not a luxury gated community that it's advertised as. Save you're money!!!

Was nice but...

Was great at first. Beautiful roomy brand new apartments. However now that it is full there is dog waste all over the grounds, the clubhouse is dirty, there is a serious parking shortage, puddles of dog pee in the breezeways and on the stairs. Some residents have no sense of common courtesy and use areas such as the pool and fitness center as if they are the only ones using them. Others forget they have neighbors. As the complex is about to open the second phase things will only get worse.
