it’s been a pretty good experience so far :) i appreciate the front office for everything they do and all the fun things they provide for us.
Staff is super friendly, apartments are very nice, l I love the community and everything is not that far from TAMUCC. I would rate the moving in process a 10/10, very easy.
Everything was 5 star. I am looking forward to living there. The apartments are beautiful and the staff is excellent. Thank you for your excellent customer service.

Maintenance is quick, questions are always answered, and the gate stays working! That’s a problem at other places in the past. If I pay for the gate, then it should be working. Love it here!!

Lovely place to live! Very pretty buildings, grounds and swimming pool. Office staff are always cheerful and helpful, and the maintenance crew are top notch. Located easily near shopping, downtown and beach! Apartment Is comfortable and spacious.

This apartment complex is close to all activities in corpus. The amenities are great and the staff including maintenance are awesome! The apartments are spacious and the office is open good hours for in person assistance. The manager down to earth and very friendly to her residents and assisted out needs the best she can. This place offers a lot of activities for residents to do so.

South Bay apartments have been my favorite place to live! Living so close to the freeway is so convenient, yet we are far enough away that you barely hear the traffic. The amenities are awesome, especially the pool and gym. The maintenance staff can fix anything and do it quickly! They also take care of the grounds as if it was their own home. My neighbors are friendly and respectful, the management staff are friendly, l knowledgeable and understanding. I have been living here since 2019 and honestly cannot envision ever moving. I think they are stuck with me here! I love the place!

South bay staff and maintenance have been great to work with! Our neighbors not as much. The people above us and some others somewhere near us don’t come alive until 2am sometimes and like to jump up and squeal. I’m guessing they are watching sports, high on life or playing drinking games, and for sure do laundry at all hours. All those things are fun just prefer if it were not during “quiet hours”.

I really enjoy living here. It’s a great & clean community. The only thing I don’t like is how the pool will randomly be closed with no warnings on days when it’s supposed to be open.

Love the place and the people. Apartment is conveniently located and it is close to everything you might need. (school, grocery, store, gas station)
South Bay is a very friendly community. I feel that it is a safe place. The staff and the manager are very involved in listening to our concerns. I see that they try to remedy any form of issues that caused the residence stress. There has been a great improvement and keeping the lawn, clean and free from dog deposits. I really do think the staff for giving us updated information on concerns and issues that are being noticed. Thank you so much. I am blessed to live in this place.

South Bay is great! It’s very quiet and all of the staff is so helpful. (Also, if you have a larger dog South Bay is your place because they don’t have a weight restriction like so many other complexes!)
The amenities here are great. I enjoy the gym and the pool, besides it being closed on Monday’s and sometimes on Sundays without any notice but other than that it’s good. I appreciate the staff for having little events for the community to go and enjoy.

The location is probably SouthBay’s strongest point. It’s super close to TAMU-CC, so if you’re a student, the convenience is unbeatable. You’re also only a few minutes from the bayfront, grocery stores, and restaurants. I enjoyed being near the water and jogging trails — definitely a plus. The grounds are kept relatively clean, and there’s a nice amount of greenery around. The complex has a bit of an older feel, but they seem to maintain it well. Maintenance was responsive most of the time. A couple of my work orders took longer than expected, but overall, they did show up and got things fixed. Neighbors were pretty quiet for the most part, and I never felt unsafe. Parking was usually easy to find near my unit, which is not always the case in apartment living.

I’ve lived here for almost a year and it’s by far the best complex I’ve ever lived at. The maintenance team is the dream team. They keep the complex nice, clean, and neat and go above and beyond. South Bay Apartments is great! The location next to the highway can't be beat, and the leasing office staff are responsive and helpful. I also like how there are pool bands to ensure only residents are using the pool.

Lots of smokers in the South bay community. Hallways with bad odor. Dirty. Car wash hose keeps disappearing. Vacuum cleaner works randomly. Swimming pool privileges abused w numerous family members and gates prompted open for entry. Outdated older apartments. Pet waste still not being picked up. Heavy, heavy foot traffic upstairs.

Have only been here for a week and I love it! So peaceful!!! Office is extremely compliant and love the ladies in there. No loud neighbors and trash service is very helpful.

Just moved in. So far everything has been great. Apartment is beautiful, complex is well maintained. Staff is nice, neighbors friendly. No elevator for 3rd floor, but its ok.

I have lived here 15 years and it has been a very pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and will take care of your concerns and if you have a maintenance issue they always take care of it promptly. The location here on the south side of corpus is also a big plus for me.

So far living at South Bay has been great. We’ve loved our experience in our new home for the past couple of months. Love the arches throughout and we love how every room is separated just like a house. The neighborhood is nice and quiet for the most part and from the neighbors we’ve met so far have been very kind. The staff and maintenance are always on top of everything when we need them. I’d say moving here was the best decision I could’ve made for my family:)

Things have really improved around here. I love how the office is doing things and having activities for us residents. They go above and beyond so often for us. I absolutely love how we have a book club now. The books that the office provides after we vote are amazing! The only thing I’d say is I wish we could get this pool bracelets already to keep out the intruders trespassing to our pool. We have the best new security officer here now too.

SouthBay is a great community to live in. The landscape is beautiful. The amenities is up to date. I would love to see more updates inside area like the kitchen. The apartments beautiful and spacious inside. My 3 bedrooms and 2 bath with sunroom look like a house. I plan to live here for years to come.

Very clean and quiet. Grounds are very well maintained. The gym is nice with well functioning equipment. I have only needed maintenance for very small things and it was taken care of promptly.

It has been a great first month! Trash pickup is a very nice extra. Pool has been very clean including the walking grounds. Have had a couple of maintenance requests and they were completed very quickly. Have had a bit of a problem with some ants but the complex has a bug guy that comes out so hopefully that helps. All in all, I am very much enjoying my the complex right now. No problem with neighbors whatsoever.

I have only been living at South Bay apartments for a few weeks. I love living here. The staff is wonderful, the grounds are well maintained and I feel very safe here. I also am very close to TAMUCC so it is very easy to get to campus and my classes.

I really love this community, I never lived in any other place in corpus as I loved this so much. The pool and gym are awesome. Maintenance in Southbay is too good. Any work order will be taken care the very next day of creating it. If there is any kind of emergency leasing office will be actively be on it.

This is a great place to live! The apartments are like new when you move in which is a huge plus. The staff is very responsive to maintenance requests, and the complex as a whole is extremely well maintained. I definitely recommend leasing here!
