Sommerset La Costa

I lived at Sommerset for 2 years and really enjoyed this community! The management is very personable and more than willing to assist in any way! I moved out before Lamonda took over the management, and she took the courtesy of contacting me to let me know a package was delivered to my old apartment address! I really appreciated her hospitality and setting aside the package for me to come pick up.

We really enjoyed our initial visit when looking at property choices and compared everything we looked at to this location. Our experience with Lamonda has been terrific, as she is quick to follow up and always available to help us navigate things as we get ready to move in to our unit. She has gone out of her way to accommodate our needs and we are really excited to be part of the community.

We viewed the property and it was still being remodeled- Lamonda was wonderful communicating with me about time frame, and was available for my multiple requests to view the progress! She was informed and shared with me the progress as work was being completed And then when we went to get the keys , she had a welcome gift, a beautiful smile for us ! She seemed as excited as we are !!! Looking forward to a long term relationship with her and this property Thank you Lamonda ????

I recently viewed a condo at Sommerset and am excited to be moving in shortly. Lamonda the manager was helpful and took time to answer all of my questions and provide me with details on the units that were available for rent. After visiting several other rental options in the coastal north county finding this place was a dream come true. As soon as I walked into the condo I knew my search for a new place was over.

RENTERS BEWARE. Under new management and quickly going down hill. The landscaping is not being kept up and is turning into a jungle. No more customer service. The manager is rude and condescending to tenants. This is an old property with a lot of slab and plumbing problems, not worth the rent increases. We will not renew our lease here. All it took was poor management to ruin what was once a nice place to live.

I have lived here for over a year and a half and I can not say enough how happy I am to live here. Albert takes care of the grounds/maintenance so efficiently and so well. He does so much work on the property and always has so much energy. The facilities are always very clean and well maintained. Eleonor the property manager is a gem. I have never lived in a complex where all of my needs are met with a smile. Eleonor makes great connections with the residents and always keeps them up to date on the property happenings. Thanks to Eleonor, I feel safe living here and it is nice to know that there is always someone there if you need assistance.

My wife and I moved in two yrs ago in August. We found this community on a weekend visit to find housing for our move. We are ecstatic about our jem. Its got everthing we need/want. And its less than 5 miles to the beach. And Jennifer is the best, and all of the management really. Its quiet, and all the residents are awesome too???? Five stars all around! True Bliss. Liam

Great value - 2BR/2BA, detached single car garage plus separate parking space. Floor plan is a nice layout/good use of space, large storage room on patio, multiple patios, full-size washer/dryer, roomy bedrooms. Property manager friendly, works hard to make things happen and makes living here fun (organizes bingo, garage sales, raffles, picnics, etc. if you are so inclined). Full-time maintenance manager who is organized and hard working with attention to detail in a timely manner. Just the right size complex to say Hi to neighbors yet maintain your own privacy.
