North Naples provides a lush, tropical atmosphere directly north of Naples. Filled with lakes and marshy areas inland, the coastline provides some of the world's most amazing beaches. Residents can go swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing at Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park, go shelling along the crystal-clear water at Barefoot Beach County Preserve, or head to the hotel-lined Vanderbilt Beach Park.
While the beaches are spectacular, the golfing is great, too. North Naples is home to several golf courses, including Audubon Country Club, Stonebridge Country Club, and Collier's Reserve Country Club. For shops and restaurants, North Naples residents head to Tamiami Trail, the main road through the area and the location of several business including strip malls, restaurants, and grocery stores.

I lived at Arbor View Apartments (now known as Somerset Palms) for 3.5 years, and I have mostly positive things to say about my experience. While the complex had some areas for improvement during my time there, it seems like they've made some impressive upgrades in recent years. Pros: - The apartments are spacious and well-designed, and they've become more luxurious with recent renovations. - The management team is friendly and professional, and they've been consistently responsive to maintenance requests and other concerns. - Rent was affordable during my time there (around $800 for a 2-bedroom apartment in 2003), although I'm not sure how much it has changed since then. - The fitness center and pool have undergone significant improvements and are now top-notch amenities that residents can enjoy. Cons: - The location is not ideal for those without their own transportation, as it's not close to public transportation and there are limited options for grocery shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Overall, Somerset Palms (formerly Arbor View Apartments) is a great apartment complex with impressive amenities, particularly the fitness center and pool. However, its location and lack of transportation options may not make it the best choice for everyone."

I just relocated to the area and finding an apartment has been a slow frustrating process. I drove by Somerset Palms today and decided to pop in and check it out. Britney, the leasing manager, was so warm and inviting! She quickly showed me a cute unit and helped me through the Application process while making it feel easy, which was incredibly helpful after a challenging apartment hunting process. If everything goes as planned, I hope to be a new resident in just a couple days!

I first moved here during the walk of Covid and it was very quiet, after Covid lifted everything became so lively. Kids skating, people riding bikes. It’s so cozy here.

The first year we lived here the community was great as described in all the other reviews here dated pre 2019. Then they changed the rules on qualifying to live here. When we moved in we had to make a certain income & pass a background check. Once the rules changes, the cleanliness of the community went down hill quickly, we began to have pest control issues, toilets that backed up and flooded the apartment, maintenance jobs half done & an AC fire that took weeks to repair. Police were called to the community on a regular basis to deal with various issues from our new neighbors, the pool bathrooms were destroyed and fights broke out at the pool between grown men! We decided it was time to go. Spoke to the office staff who understood our concerns and agreed to let us go if we paid an additional months rent. After we had left we then received a demand for $3,500.00 for a termination fee. Don't rent here it has completely gone down hill.
Awesome place to live, the staff is always there to help. They always take care of any issues right away. The mtce. staff also goes above and beyond. I have had to contact mtce after hours and Ian is always quick to come take care of anything that goes ary.
Screwed us over. They took our deposit, and are still charging us another 300 for "repairs". They never disclosed information that the apartment was flooded before moving in and unfortunately since we don't have proof of it there's literally nothing we can do to fight it. The corruption is beyond my imagination.
I fell in love with it as soon as I took a tour! Not only is it conveniently located, it has luxurious amenities such as a fitness center and beautiful pool! Everyone is extremely friendly from the residents to the staff! A truely great place to call home!
I love how close this place is to the beach... and that they accept big dogs! Extremely happy with my decision.
In the past few years that I have lived here the pool has been one of the only things going for this place and I've enjoyed using it till 10pm. Now suddenly they changed the hours to 8pm closing. Today, on a Friday at 7:30pm they came to close the pool telling me that I had to leave. When I complained about the time, I was threatened by Hope that she would call the police if I did not leave. She was rude and very disrespectful to me. I understand that they have to close the pool when it gets dark.. but the sun was still up and it was a half hour earlier than posted. I would also like to add that the air conditioning freezes up if you keep it below 76 degrees. It does not cool the whole apartment but only the living room and master. Also there is no place for small children to play but the parking lot which is always full. I am furious about the way I was treated and would never recommend this place to anyone. Save your money!!
plants out front are plastic. Apartments are cleaned up for you to view but once you move in they quickly start to fall apart. Maintance is great and thank god because you will see them every week. No parking absolutely no parking unless you want to pay extra for a reserved space but lot is so full people are forced to park in your reserved space due too No available parking...
We have lived here for a year and when we moved in there were a lot of families and nice neighbors, then they started making (unnecessary) upgrades, branding themselves as "luxury" apartments and raising the rents. It's still a nice place but a lot of families couldn't afford the rent and relocated and the singles/roommates started moving in. It's very pet friendly and the staff is great. The location is perfect, close to just about anything you'd want as long as you have a car. It's not walkable or easily accessible to public transportation. Great schools if you do have a family and the pool area is really nice.
