Located on the northeast side of Memphis, the city of Arlington sits along I-40 and is one of the city's fastest-growing suburbs. With a history dating back to the early 1800s, Arlington used to be Shelby County's best-kept secret -- a rural area for decades. Today, the population is nearly 12,000 and steadily increasing. With its easy commute to Memphis, its tree-filled neighborhoods, and its historic downtown shopping district known as Depot Square, there's much to love about Arlington.
Rich with the character and charm of the Memphis area, Arlington is a historic city with several landmarks. Some of these include S.Y. Wilson & Company (or Wilson's Store), built around 1893 and one of the oldest continuously-operating businesses in the county. The Rachel H.K. Burrow Museum is a great destination after moving to an apartment in Arlington -- learn more about the history of the city by visiting this museum, built in 1905 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Somerset at Lakeland
Just moved here and haven’t had a decent parking spot since i been here. I had to park on the opposite side of my complex with groceries. something should really be done about that. My only complaint the apartment and staff are welcoming

First, let me say it has been such a blessing living here so far. It’s quiet, nice and my son I have been enjoying our new home. We’ve already met some good people in the neighborhood. Cara, is very kind, attentive, accommodating and helpful. She has made this transition for me easy. I appreciate her and all of the ladies in the office as well as the maintenance guys. Thank You.

Somerset apartments has been a great place to live. Front desk was very accommodating when I first moved in by helping me get into my apartment after arriving from Washington at 2 in the morning. Pools are very clean and the upgrades to the fitness center are awesome Very reasonable price on rent in an excellent part of Tennessee. Highly recommend
My neighbor uses the charcoal grill around the wooden stairs, causing a risk of fire, the condo is dirty, the apartment is not detected against insects, the administration has been informed about all these problems at least 3 times I've emailed it to management to talk about it, but they don't seem to care about the quality of the condo. I really don't recommend this place anymore
The manager Melissa she doesn't care about the people living in here or the apartment complex because all apartments complex are dirty side to side the only thing she care about it is the money in her pocket so I can't believe exist people like that and her personal assistant too
Terrible place to live i pay my rent early every single month and still have no where to park! The office claims “u are gauranteed two spaces per apartment” they literally mean throughout the entire complex! These are the type of clowns you are dealing with! The manager melissa attitude is awful and for the money you should live at lincoln at wolfchase or crosstown concourse way better amenities and appliances! The car wash is broke and the washing area smells terrible do not move here u will regret the parking and the terrible trash compactor issues a real eye sore! And depending on where u live building wise it may look like projects!! Weird neighboors
