Solara has a great location and very nice amenities. The move in process was fairly easy and staff were helpful.
Being a first-time renter I did not really know what to expect in regards to service, professionalism, friendliness, etc. You read so many reviews about places where all the comments are negative. I have nothing but positive things to say about Solara and the entire staff here. They are wonderful, and I am very pleased to be living here.

Solara is a great place! we really enjoy living here.
The management and support staff are friendly and professional. This is a quiet community where everyone shows respect and kindness. I lam a senior citizen and live with my dog and have always felt safe and secure. Solara is a well cared for property with excellent maintenance staff.
So far my living here has been great! Move in experience was very well handled. Leasing staff was great, answering any questions or concerns I may have had. I called in a few simple work orders and matinence came the same day within a couple of hours and took care of both of them very quickly! Been great! Thank you!

Solara is a safe, clean , relaxing apartment complex. It has a beautiful pool area and backyard garden. It is conveniently located. It has all the apartment conveniences.
The office staff is very friendly and ready to help. The Maintenance team gets the work done in a timely manner, that was not the case at my previous apartment complex.

Solara Apartments has been a good discover. It’s a quite place, comfortable, and with a current great management.
Where do I even begin…. Me and my husband moved to Solara in 2021 and at first we were very excited to have found a place that was under the market price in such a great area. But as expected, it was too good to be true. Not only the apartment itself was old, but the previous tenants left the the bathrooms molded and disgusting. Not too long after, we started to have problems with the building amenities, the elevator stayed out of service for weeks, and it kept breaking more times after it was “fixed”, the building door is also almost always broken or not properly working. Besides the problems with the building, our apartment was nothing but a Pandora’s box. Every single time it was a different surprise, and not the good ones. Last year (2022), right before the hurricane season started, I placed a maintenance order for them to check my roof (I lived in the 4th floor) because I was suspecting we had a leak in our master bathroom. They came and told us that it was “old painting” and that it wasn’t a leak and I shouldn’t worry about it. Well, hurricane season arrived and not only that same spot had huge leaks, but also both closets were dripping during the whole 3 days of hurricane rain. We couldn’t sleep because we thought that the ceiling wasn’t gonna be able to hold all that water and would eventually break. Up until today, they still haven’t fixed the damages inside our apartment. No long after the hurricane season stopped, January was here, and with that more problems. Just in a window of 1 1/2 months, my A/C broke 4 times, and I found out that we stayed almost a whole year paying more for our energy bill because the A/C wasn’t properly working. A few months later, a weird brown thick leaks started to come out of my water heater door, and keep in mind, I only discovered what was behind that door when they came to check the leak because up until then, I had no access and did not know what was behind it. We found out that the water heater was so damaged and so poorly taken care of that it could’ve exploded from the pressure and because of the huge crack from top to bottom. And on top of that, the WHOLE ROOM where this thing stays is COVERED in mold (I’ll add the photos for you). They won’t fix it by the way, because, according to them, it’s not harmful because it’s on the balcony and not inside the apartment. I have called Solara my home for over a year, renewing my lease in May. The management and maintenance staff have been excellent and even better since Wood Residential assumed management. The landscaping has improved removing and cutting back trees that could become hazardous by high winds and storms. All the carpeting in the hallways have been replaced. Their current project in painting the building. Solara with its management is proactive in maintaining their property, now my home. The residents and staff and friendly and welcoming. The location is conducive to easy and quick shopping. There are so many positives to living here.

The property was sold to new owners & the buildings went down from there. Cockroaches in the hallways , tons of nats in the apartments, hallways smelly, pool frequently under maintenance. The apartments and the property are nice but I suggest deep cleaning your apt before unpacking anything. Not sure if they properly clean after people move out.

The leasing team is very special, they are always willing to help and solve our requirements. We find the following areas for improvement: The carpets are very deteriorated, very stained and that gives an unpleasent appearance. Supposedly it is a community of non-smokers but permanently perceives the smell of cigarettes and other substances in all areas. El pet Spa are deteriorated, too The neighbors do not respect the warnings and take out the garbage any day at any time causing bad odors in the common areas.

This community was beautiful, clean and sanitary when I first moved in. Some of the residents are very nasty throwing trash outside the compactor and not picking up after their dogs. The hallways are dirty n stink as they are not properly maintained or cleaned routinely

The entire staff are very professional and take pride in the services provided to the residents here. The manager Patricia, her assistant manager Monica and office staff have done a phenomenal job in transforming the living environment and the grounds into a great place for every resident to live and enjoy.

Very professional and friendly staff. There is always a friendly greeting from the staff whenever I pass by walking my dog, going to my car or going to the Solara office. Excellent customer service skills. They define community by their work ethics.

It has gone down tremendously. Staff 0/10 doesn’t do their job, also don’t take your concerns seriously. Carpet is dirty, stained, filled with dog poop. Elevators constantly broke. Certification outdated. Property gets more run down by the day. 2 yrs here rdy 2 move! Do NOT be fooled like me.
Solara honestly has gone down a little in the two years I’ve been here . Was really hoping for a third, but don’t think we will. The roach problem has increased as well as fruit flies. And the mold situation to me personally had gotten out of hand and honestly should be tested instead of just wiped down. That’s just my personal opinion. It’s also sad to see the office personnel switch out so frequently. Like where is the bond we use to have with them? Completely gone. Hope it turns around for this place because it’s gorgeous just not as luxurious as it use to.
I have been living at Solara since it was built. It is a Super Safe, relaxing, comfortable place to come home to after a hard day's work. A great place to rejuvenate and create a home life.
