Fast and Reliable Maintenance Service! Great service! I called in a maintenance request yesterday and they responded quickly. came out soon after and resolved the issue efficiently. Really appreciate the prompt and professional work!
Revue I have lived here for six years and the cleanliness of the apartments has decreased overtime. The garbage and recycling area is always overflowing onto the ground and scattered into the surrounding area. This was supposedly addressed by adding garbage service but the garbage service doesn’t show up two to three days out of the week - even after they are contacted. I am assuming that a lot of the garbage is from people who live outside of the complex but nothing has been done to address this issue. There are rodents in the garbage area. It is a health hazard. It is unsanitary. Parking has gone up by $15 dollars a month. Why? $50 a month for a reserved parking spot is outrageous. The small pool is not cleaned daily during the summer. Last summer we didn’t have a pool skimmer so the residents weren’t able to clean it ourselves when maintenance didn’t. The pool also remains an issue with non residents obtaining access. Management does nothing to enforce their own pool rules about guest access. There are large parties held with an extensive amount of non residents. There is also a large piece of plaster missing out of the bottom of the small pool on the shallow end. Management will clean the front pool, as this is next to the office where the new residents come through, before they will clean the back pool. Outside lighting fixtures were replaced on both the buildings and around the property when this money could have been spent on paint and power washing. The cost to live here continues to increase while the cleanliness is not held to the same standards.

So happy we chose Murrayhill! We didn’t even want to have to move, but our old place was hiking the rent significantly and weren’t even addressing our maintenance issues that started AT MOVE IN. This property has been incredible since day 1! And that’s not to say we didn’t run into a couple bumps, like our keys weren’t working when we tried to move in, but maintenance came and fixed it immediately and we told them there was no rush as we could get in through the garage still. But Management and Maintenance took us extremely serious, and wanted to address the issue immediately, which is very impressive for such a large property! The property itself is beautiful and well kept! Grass is always cut, weeds are always pulled, there are dog poo stations almost every 7 feet! The bank we got for our buck with the amount of space we have in our unit, and the attached garage, is just unmatched in this crappy market! We are so happy with our decision. It’s been amazing so far, and we hope to stay here for the next few years! :)

The grounds are beautiful, and my building was fairly quiet. That being said, my unit overlooked Scholls Ferry, which turned out to be a mistake as the street is like a racetrack most of the day and night. Units are dated, with ancient heating systems and no AC. The balcony was clean when I moved in but was never cleaned again in the time I lived there (no way to do it myself). My gutters were full of debris, which resulted in a frozen puddle at my doorstep most of the winter. The seal on my freezer door didn't work, despite maintenance calls about it, so occasionally it would fall open and everything in the freezer would ruin - fun. The kitchen sinks are so shallow they are nearly useless, and the old glass-top stove is horrible to cook on. People are allowed to let their dogs defecate all over the place, with no penalty for not picking it up. They will mention in the newsletter that you can earn a referral bonus if you recommend someone as a tenant and they wind up renting, but don't believe it. I encouraged my coworker to rent there because they were having a bad time with their current landlord, and they wound up signing a lease. I was in contact with the manager for over a year afterward, trying to claim the referral bonus. I was assured over and over again that "the check is in the mail", but everyone knows how that goes. Even after I moved out, I was being told they would "try" to get the check to me. Naturally, that never happened. In short, Sofi at Murrayhill is a pretty place but units are dated and poorly appointed given the rent amounts.

We have had horribly maintenance interactions at a previous apartment complex. When we would put a request in, even for very simple tasks, it was never even acknowledged until 2-3 weeks after the request was put it. So this has been a huge change, and we are so thankful.

The parking is the number one thing guest complain about when they come over
Rated a 5 based on this maintenance person only. But the property has many, many issues in which I would not recommend to family or friends.

They flip flopped on parking after I signed my lease. They told me I could rent an additional parking spot, then after I signed my first lease they told me I couldnt. Also, people park in the drive ways and block things and nothing is ever done about it. This has left a bad taste in my mouth. It's a cool place, so it's unfortunate this is the case
I would recommend this apartment because of the beautiful area, walkability, and quiet atmosphere

Even though the personnel for maintenance failed to show for my appointment, I have been satisfied overall with living in this community. I have resided at Soft for 6 years come the end of January 2022.
It's amazing, the only part I don't like is there's no parking. Nothing is perfect though.
Only negative thing I can say is there is NO guest parking for my family to visit me.
Would recommend this community. People are friendly. And respectful.
I just think management could be more willing to have a nice back and forth over email. They often ignore me or a few times have given curt replies With the phone system changing completely, it is almost impossible to get answers and talk to a person. So we are faced with coming in to the office but they give priority to tours, and meetings with residents take a long time so often it comes back to emails and I would hope that they try to be nice in writing to residents
I am a long term Sofi resident and have been with Sofi Cedar Mill for 4 years before moving closer to my job at Sofi Murrayhill 1 year ago. I love the pools, my quiet and private appartment, the prompt and 5*maintenance care I have received. My days at Sofi Murayhill have been the happiest of my adult life, even if it's Pandemic. Thank you for your very hard work, it's highly appreciated.:)

it's a nice place, very relaxing. I sometimes hear noises I don't like, but it's never a problem. Also I want to play music loud but I know I can't out of courteously
The management is fantastic! Stan is amazing! Made every aspect of the whole renting process enjoyable! The community is large and the trees and wetlands are a nice scenery. Love that there is 2 pools too!

Walls are thin and I had to move to an upstairs as it was unbearable being below .
Parking is very difficult and friends have been towed. I notice cars without a parking permit in the same spots that others have been towed as well.

Our Maintenance Team is great I have to say they respond in a timely manner and they are all very knowledgeable and always do a great job.
I would recommend it because of the park like setting and Christin's office staff - it is a very well run commnunity - only wish we could use the amenities (Pool and Hot Tub) ... only reason to not recommend is 1. Seems like the walls are poorly insulated for sound from neighbors and the parking is pretty much impossible to have guests
The apartment itself is very comfortable with nice countertops and I love the kitchen sink! The grounds are GORGEOUS. The amenities are beautiful and well maintained. Looking forward to swimming next summer! The office & maintenance staff is consistently helpful and kind. I can tell they work very hard to maintain the community. I appreciated the work they did around parking -- I'm sure it wasn't easy to manage the limited guest parking spots but they did a great job.

Overall the amenities are very nice, staff really friendly and helpful. The quality of the apartments, with the exception of the model, of course, looked a little run down...outside decks, carpets...but overall it is a very nice complex and a bonus to get a garage and parking space. I like the layouts...need to wait a few months to make a decision so it will depend on what is available as to whether or not we select SOPHI.
