Good place to stay. Only issue is with proper upkeep and maintenance requests not being completed in a timely manner. Move-in process is quick and easy!

It's been a quiet community. I hate the tow trucks who are bullies in demanding money for things that are so easily corrected. Outside of the above mentioned issue it's been a good experience.

The office and maintenance staff are kind and work to resolve issues within a reasonable time frame. I enjoy the activities put on by the staff, including waffle wednesday and pool days! The noise level of the neighborhood varies, with a lot of activity some days compared to other calmer days.

You get what you pay for in terms of the quality of the unit. It is a little dated, but clean for the most part. Maintenance is quick and reliable, and the amenities are nice. The location is great for students.

Wish work orders be fixed in a better time management and updated appliances. But overall staff have a professional attitude and work with their residents.

It has been good I like that my maintenance requests get filled decently quickly and I love having my own place as well. The people are also very nice and extremely helpful whenever I have any questions.

Overall my experience here was good. A few flaws would be that pest control through the apartment never came and they just gave you traps to set up, but you can look past that with all the other things being accomplished by them.

The Social Block has been a decent living space. I love that the rent isn’t super expensive, the pool is nice, dumpsters aren’t far away, maintenance works fast, and the bedrooms are spacious.

I will never recommend this apartment. I will recommend living literally anywhere else. The management is incredibly disorganized and maintenance is basically nonexistent. Anytime I have submitted a maintenance request, they have taken months to fix the issue, and when they do get around to “fix” something, they’re really just putting a temporary bandaid on the issue for it to just break again later. The cockroaches and ants are disgusting and the apartment in general is NOT clean. 0/10. Do not recommend.

Maintenance could be better .. they get to the job but it’ll either be unfinished or a mess left behind.. other den that I’m enjoying my stay here at the social block and townhomes

Great apartments! Friendly front office! I recommend living here if you are bringing a family, or if you’d want a family like setting with friends.

its an alright place , some problems with stuff in apartment but nothing i cant fix without waiting days for them to finally do something . alright staff i guess everytime i call for my package they never answer but one time i went like 10-15 min before closing and stopped at the door n called before entering to see if theyd answer cause they hadnt picked up the phone …. funny thing is when i callled i see the worker sitting at the desk ON HIS PHONE ..i call he PICKS UP THE PHONE N PUTS IT BACK DOWN ignoring me…. i go in and hes literally doing nothing but on his phone

The social is a great place to live. It is very safe and clean place. Maintenance is completed promptly. Staff are friendly and supportive.

Since our time here it’s been pretty smooth and pretty good so far. The dog parks could need a lil fixin and maintenance could become a little better

The place was horrible when I first got here from the roach infestation to the random water outages. Since they fixed those issues if you can tolerate the people you should enjoy it.

I enjoy the time that Ive lived here. Management and the maintenance team aren’t fun to work with some time. The complex is relatively safe and everyone minds their own business for the most part.

Great living space! Nice room size, Clean Property and Nice Staff. There is also many amenities available for the residents and also really convenient Visitor parking for your guests.

The best experience ever in the social block! The staff are incredibly nice and helpful, making my move smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Great management, peaceful place to stay. I will recommend SocialBlock and Townhomes to everyone . Since I have been here , I have not had problems with roaches ,maintenance or poor service. I Simply love this place.

Service is quick and awesome. They are always ready to respond my queries and come up with a fair solutions. So far me and my family experience is good.

Haven't really got to interact with anyone yet and my roommate isn't here till later on this month but besides that it's pretty quiet neighborhood or community so far as I can tell but it's been pretty rainy lately so maybe things will change as a spring comes

It’s not a bad place to live. The communication and with maintenance could be worked on but other than that it’s nice. They allow pets and always answer the phone.

It’s very affordable but I wish there was a way to meet more people like clubs or more events it would make the experience of living here more enjoyable

The first time I moved to the social blocks (last month) and to Starkville in general, I cried amd still do now, tears streaming down my face. As a foreign student, I am overwhelmed with anxiety. Friendless, yet trying my best, but no good results so far. To those who are struggling, I hope life treats you kindly. Sending all my love.

The people in the office has made this one of the easiest moves ever! The apartments are very up to date and nice! The Social Block also has a really nice gym and pool!

Great time here. I have been enjoying my stay here. However the situation with the roaches can be handled a lot better. As a college student I definitely recommend this spot though.

Really great, not much for complaining about it, and smart busses made it free to travel around Starkville. Nothing much happened outside. No residents , no social events, and maintenance is busy. Overall kinda glad I came.

It’s alright I guess office staff seems very lazy like it is too much effort to help you and information given to you will always be different every time be aware of their parking policies even a flat tire will get your vehicle towed without notice you’ll wake up one day and your vehicles gone

I love that the staff is accommodating and the move in process was so easy and simple. No issues as of yet! Also, the unit is very spacious and roomy!

The units are outdated but mine was clean. I initially was going to move into a larger floor plan, but upon seeing it for the first time, it was not left in good shape. Mold, weed stench, and a missing microwave were just a few of the issues. The leasing staff were very understanding and were able to help me move into a different floor plan, albeit a smaller one. The new unit was clean and functional. The amenities are decent, and the rent is cheap. You get what you pay for. If it weren't for the initial move-in dilemma, it would be a 3-star review.

I love our apartment, but when we first got here yesterday, the apartment wasn’t clean and now I woke up to ants all over our apartment downstairs.

They were very sweet and helpful telling me bout there experiences living here and how we all can get on one accord and how everything is over here all they all were very nice

It’s a lovely community, my wife and I enjoy being here. It has it moments, but other than that we live quietly and not much of a commotion near where we live! We love it! Thanks

It's good till now. The maintenance and other services are always good. Though the amenities and facilities are not up to date but the services are always up to date when you ask for any inspections.

I love it here. It would be a great idea for your first apartment. This is my very first apartment and it is great every thing you could imagine

There was and still is a lot of things wrong with the apartment. Apartment not a bad place to live, but I was moved into an apartment with air/heat not working, mold under counter. Just unacceptable.

I wish my bedding was higher, my desk is missing paint, my door wall is missing paint also and the wood there is chipped!! My room smells like pee as well!!

You know what? It truly not a bad place to live. I live in the townhomes and there are some potholes that need to be fixed. My only problem is that my work order was submitted time ago, yet there has been no effort made to fix the problem by the staff. There are fun community events hosted by the staff.

Honestly I am very happy with the social block townhomes. The office is friendly and the spaces are good sized just wish maintenance responded quicker

I have loved it over here so far but it can be better. Management has changed and they are constantly trying to make improvements in the community.

So far I like everything about the social block u have everything you need in my complex I love my roommate I love yhe view from my apartment

The Social Block is a great little place for college students. It’s not far from campus, it’s on a bus route, and it’s not super expensive. Not only are the office staff helpful and polite, but they host fun events throughout the year. I have enjoyed my stay so far.

My experience being here 3 years now has beeen exceptional. Helpful staff and lots off amenities. Have a gym, dog park, and a pool. Plus everything is so close. I am surely going to renew my lease when the time comes.

This place has became a home for me so affordable great anemeties pool,grills, relaxing outside picnic area great location from campus and the public transportation stop is right on the property!

It’s gotten a lot better since I’ve moved from the apartments to the townhomes. It’s so much of a better space to be in. I enjoy less drama and an to my person and I got to pick my roommate ! I love it. I’m happy with this choice so far!

Leasing office was very nice but apartment was a mess. Looks like somebody had just moved out the day before i came. They Had to push back my move in date twice.

I love my apartment because it's cozy and filled with natural light. It's my sanctuary where I can relax, create music, and enjoy my hobbies.
