The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I would recommmend this community because I have no complaints and am satisfied with everything.

People mind their own business here and foremost it's quiet.
They welcome pets, its covenient to my work,nice/clean place which i respect etc..
I currently live here, have lived here for almost 1 year and I like the location and layout of the complex. I haven't had any major issues with the apartment I am in now or my neighbors. I like it, I just need more space and want to more from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom. I have no complaints.
YES
Called multiple times to schedule an appointment with no response. Finally got someone, set an appointment and waited 15 minutes past appointment but the agent basically ignored us. Resident on site recommends we look elsewhere.
I came to the slate because it is a dog friendly community and would highly recommend the slate to anyone seeking a dog/child friendly, safe and secure community.
I would recommend this apartment community because it is quite and nice. And it has a good pool.
Great office staff, and I enjoy having a usable patio. Overall happy with my experience though rent is a bit high. The safety of the surrounding area is not great, but I've never felt unsafe while on the actual property with the exception of hearing gunshots from the block behind the apartments a couple of times.
I would recommend it to students of Middle Tennessee State University for the access and close distance to campus.
I've lived at Gateway for 2 years. I have enjoyed my experience here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Maintenance is always on top of any request I give them. Never have to come back twice to fix. The building and parking lot is very well lighted. My neighbors are very friendly it's like a little community here.

So my girlfriend and I had to pay to have a dog. After we closed on a house, they made us pay over $2,000 to break the lease a month early. We cleaned the apartment top to bottom, and after we’re moved in for a month, they mail us a $500 bill. Our neighbors smoked like a chimney, (weed and cigarettes), and the inspectors said all they smelled were (pet odors). So they said a 1 hour “ozone” job turnred into 3 hours that cost $300. After that, there was a $100 “pet treatment fee” that couldn’t really be explained. I will be calling the corporate office and letting everyone know about the shadiness that occurs here. The worst rental situation I’ve ever encountered.

I have lived at Gateway for 3 years now. The staff is AMAZING. If I need something looked at, maintenance is there that day! I have never had a problem with the apartments. Plus, the kitchen just got remodeled! Great place to live!

I typically never ever write bad reviews, I just don't see the point in it. However, living at this apartment complex has been the most stressful living situation I have ever been in. First of all, when we first moved in there was a shooting and an 18 year old was killed, well for whatever reason management decided to jack the rent up because of that. I suppose to pay for the pointless "gate" that is in the BACK of the apartment even though the front is completely open. Second, we had SO many brown recluses. Every single day we would find another brown recluse and when we let the office know they proceeded to tell us that "the bug guy will be here next month"....cool. Third, there were constant domestic disputes in the apartment near us --- But don't even try calling the "on site officer" because his car stays parked outside 24/7...I have never seen this "security officer" in my 2 years of living here...but okay. Fourth, did you know that maintenance can walk into your apartment at any given time without knocking? I can't tell you how many times I was just sitting on my couch and the "bug guy" came busting in with 2 sticky traps for our brown recluse problem...hm. Fifth, you are not allowed to have an "unattractive" car in the parking lot. If you have a cracked window, your car will be towed. If you have a dent -- towed. Even if you have expired tags --- you're getting towed. Never heard of that before, but okay. Sixth, upon signing our lease we asked our property manager if it would be okay for us to leave our bicycles on OUR balcony, she said yes. I know this sounds unbelievable but after having our bikes on the balcony for a year and a half we get a note on the door stating that we are being charged $25/bike that is on our balcony....$50 for 2 bikes on the balcony that I pay for. SO if you are someone who likes high crime rates and unexpected visitors all bundled in for just at $2/square foot then this is the place for you! If not, I hear the prices aren't so bad on the other side of town! Happy Apartment Hunting! :)
I absolutely love Gateway apartments! I have lived in several apartments over the years in both Alaska and Tennessee and this is hands down the best place I have ever lived. When I first moved to Murfreesboro and I was apartment shopping I looked at about 18 different places and I didn't find such welcoming and friendly service anywhere that compared to here. It's the main reason why I chose these apartments. The ladies in the main office are absolutely wonderful! They are so friendly and any time I have an issue, although rare, they correct it immediately. They are super on top of keeping the tenants informed on anything going on around the apartments as far as when rent is due or any scheduled maintenance. I have had a couple of super minor maintenance requests and they were fixed the same day that I put the request in and the maintenance staff is super friendly. The amenities on this property are wonderful and in great condition and clean. The apartments are very nice, spacious, and well maintained. The apartments are pretty quiet and the neighborhood is nice and quiet as well. Overall I highly recommend these apartments to anyone that is looking to rent!
I absolutely love staying here at Gateway. These apartments are great for beginners starting out on their own. Nice flow throughout, peaceful, and spacious. Did I mention how quiet it is? 1 bedrooms come with a huge washer and dryer, this was a nice bonus for me. Lastly everyone have their own patios and balconies. I have no complaints.
Holy moly, I can't say enough good things about Gateway!! The manager, Angie, is SO helpful, and the other office ladies are always so kind. Maintenance is super quick on any requests. It's a quiet little complex, which we absolutely love. Our one bed, one bath is the perfect size for us and our cat. The only thing that isn't wonderful is the pool... it's kind of small for the amount of people who live here. But if that's my only complaint, I think I'm in pretty good shape. I definitely think it's the best quality for the price in the Boro!
