The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Slate at Merrimack
My rent is suddenly hundreds of dollars higher with a bunch of unexplained fees. I probably need to go through my rental agreement with a lawyer at this point and see what my options are. Also the property has pretty frequent inspections which are annoying. The sound proofing is terrible my neighbors dogs are going crazy as I write this.

I have lived her from Florida 5 months ago..seems fine except renters above me don't understand that walking heavy or stomping in these apartments is awful...flooring...asked office to speak to tenant they kindly did, but seems worse. Awful. day and night..alarm in main floor always beeping and not fixed. Maintenance is very good. Not sure I will renew.
The amenities and first impressions are very good. But after having lived at Slate for a month, I'm feeling pretty underwhelmed. The construction is somewhat wanting—the walls were painted very badly, leaving splatters on the floor and missed spots and stains. The windows provide no sound insulation. And the leasing agent claimed the building was NOT a wood-frame construction and that I would not be able to hear neighbor noise. Both claims were very much false. The computerized mail system makes it impossible to access the mailroom when packages are delivered. And the management tries to nickel and dime me with innumerable petty fees for things that ought to be provided as a matter of course, all while repeatedly "apologizing" for the numerous lapses on their part (not providing me the parking spot I paid for, overcharging me on rent, among other things). The reality has sadly been quite a letdown from the positive first impression of the community.
This place is outstanding and everything is brand new. The staff here are on top of there game. All in all top of the line location, with top of the line service, and unmatched amenities. Thank you for a job well done. Keep up the great work!!!
