Throgs Neck lies in the southeast corner of the Bronx, where the East River meets the Long Island Sound, making it technically part of New York City. However, Throgs Neck feels decidedly more small-coastal-town than urban. Just six miles east of Manhattan, Throgs Neck provides the convenience and luxury of being able to live near the center of NYC without the sounds of the subway following you home.
