Between Bismarck and the border with Montana there is only one sizable town on Interstate 94, and that location is Dickinson, North Dakota. Set in big, rolling hills prairie land, Dickinson was first established in 1881 as settlers and prospectors pushed westward looking for land and ranching resources. Interestingly enough, the town was first settled and founded by a New Yorker -- W.S. Dickinson from Malone, NY.
Today, Dickinson is home to almost 20,000 residents, which is a growth of more than 2,000 new neighbors since 2010. Much of the grown has been associated with the oil industry boom the state has been realizing with shale deposit mining and the demand for technical labor in drilling and geology. In fact, with all the workers counted, some estimate that Dickinson has more than 30,000 residents, a good portion being oil workers.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Jason, we are terribly sorry about your negative experience. Please give us a call at (701) 264-3779 so we can discuss your situation in more detail to avoid this from happening to future residents.
This is the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. When we moved in we had to clean the entire place. Dog fur all over. Oh and then we had to deal with fleas from the prior tenants. Management always has empty promises. At first glance it looks nice but you won’t be thinking that when your having to pack your garbage across the complex because someone had the genius idea to have one dumpster on the property.
I came to this place for an apartment, and it took them two weeks to run a credit check. That's not even the "awful" part. It took them a month to get in contact with my prior landlord for a background check. I had to pay a $25 fee for the credit check up front, just to end up going somewhere else to live due to constant delays and phone calls that were never returned. The place I ended up settling at didn't require a fee for a credit check and contacted my landlord that day. Every place I have been to in my life can run a credit check within 15 min, and my old landlord said she could have faxed/emailed any documents/verification they needed that day if they called. For this place to say they are too busy to do things the "day of interest" for prospective tenants is a joke, when they are giving away two months free( translation- empty apartments). I have heard similar stories from other people in Dickinson about this property. I contacted the group that owns the property and demanded a refund and an investigation.
Our time at Sierra Ridge has been great. The staff have always been happy to help with anything we have needed. The apartments are spacious and have lots of storage. I would happily recommend them to anyone.
I have lived here for almost a year, but had to relocate for a job; if I had not I'd definitely be staying here. Super nice staff upfront and any maintenance issues are taken care of right away. Great place to live in Dickinson

We learned our lesson, this place will never see any more of our money ever again. Bad excuse for a business and a place to live. Liars, cheaters, manipulators! DONT DO IT.

Prices fluctuate quite often at the complex. Office staff is nice and maintenance fixes things quickly. Materials used throughout apartment are very cheap; paint, cabinets, countertop, etc. Walls are pretty thin when you live on the first and second floor and has no elevator or heated garages.

The way this apartment was built is bad. You can hear all of your neighbors, I'm on the bottom floor and it sounds like my upstairs neighbors will come thru the ceiling. The office staff is not nice. I moved in July. They don't care that my window leaks, that my neighbors party and maintenance has not come to fix my problems. You should look for a different apartment. I don't want to live here.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone they really dont know how to run this sort of business. When we moved in here my dishwasher, air conditioner, and wiring in garage was not working it took them a couple months to even get to the problem. The stuff they put in here is cheap stuff!! They try and control how you live here. When you have a problem they will try to avoid you. They will close thier office down way before its even suppose to close and will not answer the phone.
My apartment is very small. you can barely fit a love seat and two chairs in the "family room" and there is absolutely no room for a kitchen table or chairs. The bathroom takes up a third of the apartment. My favorite part is the kitchen just because of the pretty cherry colored cabinets. The quality of the building is average. Luckily I don't hear neighbors. But unfortunately my bedroom window leaks when it rains. The staff here is not very interested in the concerns of the renters. Doors to the building are not always securely locked so random people could get it. That really makes me feel safe! For the price I pay for a very small one bedroom ($1,500 a month) I should at least feel safe. Not a fan of this place, but sadly stuck in a lease.
When I first moved in the staff was great and answered every question and concern that I had very quickly. The apartments are great. Very spacious! Feels like home as soon as you walk in. I recently transferred to a different apartment and the transition was handled qyucky and professionally.
