Property Ratings at Shoreline Village Apartments
Stayed there a few years ago. Noise from the nearby train tracks was WAY under-represented (multiple freight trains went through nightly), but I actually managed to get used to that. The bigger problem was that they did not refund all of my deposit. Claimed "cleaning fee", even though I cleaned the place thoroughly, and took pictures when I left. I even cleaned the baseboards on my hands and knees. IT WAS CLEAN. Every attempt at contact was refused. The unit itself was fine. The management stank.
I called to see about renting a place and the woman was so RUDE I will never ever seek to live there ever again and I will tell everyone I know NOT to inquire. Her rudeness really made me angry because there is NO REASON to be like that when I just asked the simple question if they had any available units. Save yourself the trouble and SKIP this place!!!!!
First off the apartments are poorly built. Cabinet hardware is crooked, floors are uneven throughout, drywall is cracking, and roof leaked on our couch ruining it. When we first moved and it took over two months to get clubhouse access this was in the middle of summer and you can’t use the pool without club key. We only lived here about seven months and we did a thorough cleaning. Did a final walk-through with management where they told us everything looked good But then they still charged us a $175 cleaning fee.
