Sherwood Lake Apartments

I lived in these apartments for 3 years and your experience is super hit or miss depending on the building you live in. My first year I really liked living there. the apartment that I was in just seemed to be in better shape. I downsized to a one bedroom and my experience was absolutely horrible. the apartment I received smelled like cigarette smoke and after pressing the office staff over and over the finally admitted that smoke could ride up through the wildly porous drop ceiling. despite countless complaints they are not willing to do anything about the CHAIN smokers who make the entire building unbearable. While they make a big deal about non smoking when you sign the lease, that is the extent of it. Finally, the buildings are key access only but most of the door intercom systems are broken so you will seldom receive your packages on time and as COVID hit, they seem to have take to using as a crutch to cut expenses (no front gate security "due to covid" - not sure how someone who use to sit behind a glass, alone at night, was impacted due covid) net-net, this apartments are not worth the cost, especially given all the random issue that you constantly have to deal with. PS. a lot of the "amenities" they offer are just check boxes. Gym is a single, small, room with like 4 pieces of equipment. online payment is through some seemingly shady and unsecure website where I don't recommend inputting your bank info.

I visited Sherwood Lakes Apts about a week ago. This complex is the best I've seen. The office setting is very inviting, the office staff, wonderful, and very professional. The models were beautiful. I had a chance to view the grounds, and talk about peaceful!!! The pools, the lakes, tennis courts, workout facilities, definitely worth the money. I've applied and just waiting to hear back. Ive been looking for a place where I will feel safe and this is it, especially with the guard from 9 pm to 5 am. My greatest concern was the school system and Lake Central is top rated. I'm so looking forward to becoming a resident here.

We moved here in August and will be resigning our lease when it is time. Our apartment is great, comfortable, and heating wasn't too expensive, it's well insulated. The maintenance crew is fabulous, everything I've ever had a problem with was fixed right away, no questions asked. Snow removal and lawn care is well done. The office is terrific, they are always pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone if you like a quiet, friendly neighborhood feel.

I love my apartment complex, very quiet. A great place to live in the summer, with pools, tennis court, workout area etc.

Sherwood Lake apartment in schererville is a great place to live. I don't like how they keep raising the rent every single year but I guess that's life. They are very attentive and nice. The maintenance crew are great very fast response snd nice. They always are helpful and fix things in a timely manner. I would recommend this building to anyone. I like how they have a security gate so not just any old person will be coming in at night after hours. I like how they do background check too so no one bad can live here. It's just an all around great place to live.

A serene and peacefully property in Schererville Indiana that is a true gem. Superb professional and friendly management and staff. They appreciate their residents and provide excellent service I can have a place to live I'm proud to call home. Highly recommend everyone consider this beautiful property with many conveniences on property and nearby.

I have lived at Sherwood lake for a year now. The staff is friendly and the interior of the buildings are clean and safe because of secured entry. I love that we have the option for 6 month leases. The price per unit is slightly above average for the area, but worth it. My only complaints are that my neighbors are smokers and it ends up smelling up our apartment and that the security gate attendants wave everyone through without taking non-resident information.

I have lived at this apartment complex before along time ago and I returned after I sold my house. I love the staff there and the atmosphere there with the lake near by. All new fitness equipment and a nice business center.

im living in apartment in schererville and im paying about $900 a month which is too much for me and i cant afford it.

Affordable apartments on picturesque grounds with 2 lakes, 3 pools, a work out center and tennis courts. The staff is very helpful and the buildings are built of concrete which means you don't hear your neighbors! Pet friendly and kid friendly. Truly a nice place to call home.

I've lived here for about a month and absolutely adore this place so far. Adjacent to two of the busiest roads in the region, Sherwood Lake is surprisingly private and peaceful. You would never know it's back here. I live on the lake side of one of the apartments, and when I sit out on my balcony, it's like I'm in a different world. The apartments themselves are well updated and I feel very at home. There are three pools residents have access to, and I'm taking full advantage of one of them. If I wasn't as lazy as I unfortunately am, I would also be taking full advantage of the gym, but alas...I'm lazy. With my best friends living in Chicago, I see how little they get for so much money. You get great bang for your buck here. Five stars from me!

I enjoyed visiting this apt complex....very professional staff and site is nice. Like the fact there is security guard. Price is right. Looks great.

So far I have 0 complaints about the place. Much better than where I am coming from and seem to be a better run complex. Model's seemed nice as well as the people working in the leasing office but of course I havent been late on rent so of course they are nice lol. Hope it turns out to be a good experience!

the location is perfect, cement ceilings so noise is a minimum, things always got fixed no more then 2 days after a service request. only complaints; they do not plow the streets and sidewalks in the winter, and raised our rent $20 after the first year for no reason, which is crazy cause our rent is already more than a mortgage payment... But were staying anyways cause we love not having to pay for laundry and having air units in every room, and are saving for a house.
