Property Ratings at Sherwood Forest Apartments
Black mold was left untreated in my apartment for an entire month, they didn’t fix the leak until after I left, if they even did at all, and are trying to keep my deposit because I didn’t give a full 30 day notice for obvious health hazard reasons! I also reported the problem 3 times, and josh the manager couldn’t have cared less about my concerns.
I moved into Sherwood in February, Great location, quiet community, maintenance responds very quickly and management is firm but fair. I have an adorable apartment with reasonable upgrades. The square footage is outstanding with a lot of closets.
Horrible customer service. "Josh" the manager is completely rude with no social skills. Also, a warning. They expect you to turn in a 500$ deposit with your application fee and regardless if you are approved or not; or if you decide you don't want to rent from them theu will try to keep your deposit. A deposit is supposed to be in place in case you damaged their property. However, they are fraudulent and will try to keep it even if you never stepped foot in the apartment. Also, they will raise their rates at their discretion. So be prepared if you make decent money to pay more then the majority of tenants there.
Pretty good overall, could use some updates. Reasonably priced, close to laundry.
OMG My apartment is the best, all the utilities are included in my rent, now tell me who can actually beat that! Not to mention the spacious adorability of my unit. #winning
My apartment floods when it rains hard,have indoor outdoor carpet,they won't replace it.window in bedroom got broken from lawn mower and I get horrible Internet and phone reception.A car ran into building,so bathroom door doesn't shut right.lol.I'm single so I care about none of the above.
