Located about halfway between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, Hermitage is a picture-perfect city located along the Shenango River with access to four lakes. In addition to activities like boating and fishing, Hermitage and the surrounding area is home to several golf courses, including the nation's only free golf course, Buhl Park Golf Course. Buhl Park also offers a fitness trail, a dog park, disc golf, a swimming pool, a butterfly garden, tennis courts, kayaking, and playgrounds.
First settled in 1796, Hermitage has a long history and features some important historic locations. Learn more about the area at the Hermitage Historical Society. Residents enjoy shopping at the Shenango Valley Mall, a large indoor mall, and along State Street, which features several businesses, shops, and restaurants. With easy access to I-80, residents of Hermitage can travel to nearby Youngstown -- roughly 15 miles to the southwest -- for work or to attend classes at Youngstown State University.

Property Ratings at Shenango Park Apartments
The new manager Vanessa and her maintenance crew our Awesome. However the property is very outdated. No automatic door system buzzard are old, Outdated and low quality fixtures, out dated appliances ( old refrigerator) no dishwasher closets doors are metal come off tract when opened, sliding doors permanently fixed shut on one side, hard to open, and sliding doors old never updated since 1979, Limited amenities, out dated cabinet, and bathroom, small, poor, lighting at night, no play area for children. No central air. You have to purchase your own air conditioning unit. Closets space is excellent. Heat/water included. Unsupervised children. No laundry access after 4:30pm. Could be nice with updates. Very outdated less square footage then other apartments in the area at the same price point. Most of tenants are nice. People who do not live here walk there dogs on the property and do not clean up after them
No pool for last 3 years. Police stay on property due to illegal activities. Noisy neighbors and mgmt don’t care!!! Will not evict unless rent is not paid! All about money
