We’ve been living here since July and have had a very pleasant experience! It’s a lovely community and feels safe and is in a great location. The Apts are clean and the staff friendly professional and really helpful. We’ve had to call maintenance once or twice and I was impressed at how quickly they were to respond and help fix the issue.

I lived here for 2 years, and it was a nice area and nice apartment. My only problem was that management was constantly changing and didn't seem to have any actual say in anything. There was always a "higher" management that you couldn't talk to that called the shots. I especially had problems moving out, where the management gave me unclear instructions that they then turned into fees that they charged me for "breaking the lease" even though I wasn't planning on doing so. Be careful and make sure to get everything in writing from them.

Living here was ok, they raise the rent every year and will not give you the price that is advertised because it’s a “new tenant deal” all apartments are not upgraded, if you’re getting a cheaper price most likely will get an outdated unit with white appliances and no microwave. They should really make that more clear when advertising..
When we first moved in it was great. No issues. Then they changed management about two months ago and they are writing us up for everything (they will look inside your windows to make sure everything is tidy or say you’re breaking your lease), even when there are other obvious tenants with lease violations (pets that are restricted breeds, porch violations, etc). Talking about porches, you can’t have anything on them without them yelling at you (even flowers or plants!) because every apartment has to look the same on the outside.

I have been here 10 + years. That should say alot in itself! Exellent everything! Quiet, pet friendly, lots of greenspace and everyone is super friendly.The maintenance crew are top notch and fast to make repairs. Office personnel are professional and friendly. Have renovated apartments and they are beautiful. By far on the best apartment complexes in Northeast Ohio.

I've been here for about 3yrs..management has changed 3 times and the last straw was when I received my lease renewal and it shows a monthly increase of $210 a month..WITHOUT any extra notice on such a huge increase in monthly rent. I find this highly unprofessional and a sign that the residents come last! shameful
This place is Shady alright. I recommend looking else where before you move here. Looks nice in the picture but really isn’t. Management is terrible also. If your one day late on rent you will be getting a eviction notice!?!

We moved in a little over a month ago and we absolutely love it! Everyone in the leasing office is very nice and the maintenance team has been doing a terrific job keeping the sidewalks and parking lots cleared.
I’ve been here about two weeks and I’m loving it. It’s quiet and the office personnel are so helpful and polite. So far I’m loving it.
I have lived here 3 years. The property is very quiet, the scenery is beautiful, and my neighbours are great. The rental office staff is always professional and helpful. Highly recommended.

We have lived at a few rentals in the area. Shady Lake is by far my favorite. From the excellent staff to the friendly neighbors everywhere you look this place says home! The ponds attract the cutest ducks, lots of land to walk your dog, the apartment itself is nicely painted, kept up-to-date and there is minimal noise from neighbors or the surrounding area! We moved into Shady Lake Apartments last September and we have absolutely no complaints! Most affordable 2 bd 2 bath we could find in the area. Unlike our last apartment, it is a quiet area and you can't hear footsteps, TVs, etc. through the walls or ceiling. Our neighbors are friendly, the office staff is incredibly helpful and nice, and any maintenance requests we've had have been taken care of the same day! 5 out of 5 recommend!
I've lived at Shady Lake Apartments for almost 2 years. I love my apartment. It is the perfect size. Its quiet and the people are nice. The beauty of nature is right out of my apartment and love to watch the squirrels and birds. I have no issues here, but the maintenance is available right away when needed. The staff is very nice and friendly. The cost is reasonable in relation to the size of the apartment and amenities.
Administration worked with our schedule, one tour and two meetings later we had an apartment. $50 'per new resident' to run the background, app left me a bit confused. The picture in app and the paper I was given after meeting was a bit different then actual layout, actually prefer front door where it is rather where I thought it was. Upon move-in found 3 minor issues, all three were corrected by maintenance promptly and to my approval. I do hear my neighbors dog, chair sliding and such. NOT too bad, NOT a deal breaker. Very clean interior and exterior, friendly administration. Wife, child and myself all very happy here- would recomend to anyone.
