Maintenance resolves any issues within your unit very quickly. The landscape is kept very clean and being able to have any breed of dog makes these apartments valuable to dog lovers.

I absolutely love this apartment complex! Sylvanna is seriously so amazing in apartment management because she always answers emails quickly, and the maintenance team is the best I have ever seen. There are so many pluses to living here: + Easy/abundant street parking (street sweeping is only on 1st and 3rd Thursdays) + Maintenance is quick + super nice - one time I put in a request and they were at my door 30 mins later and fixed it within 10 mins! + Sylvanna is super fast at anything that needs management eyes + Close to the beach & freeway (without the noise) + Tons of food/shops close by + Spacious apartments with lots of storage + pets are welcome

Shadow Ridge Apartments is perfect for military families and families with pets. It's close to base and a variety of stores and restaurants. It's quick to freeways which make traveling around the area really nice! They have a dog park within the complex with agility training equipment. The staff are all so nice and accommodating and they make sure that you're taken care of. The apartments are a little dated, so 4/5 stars instead of 5/5.

My husband and I have been living our apartment for a year and we just renewed our lease. We love how central the location is and is very accessible to the freeway while still being fairly quiet. Since living here we have adopted a puppy and she loves the dog park and all of the neighborhood pups. We can ALWAYS find parking for both us and our guests which is very convenient. The Apartments are very spacious and newly renovated and were exactly what we were looking for in a first home. We are very happy here and look forward to another great year!

We have been living here at Shadow Ridge now for 3 months now and is has been; "Prefect!" We moved from our home of 5 years in Arizona and were very nervous to make the transition to apartment living. Sylvanna, Tim, and the rest of the management has made us feel like family! If you are looking for paradise with a great staff, at a great cost of living, Shadow Ridge is for you!

Parking has become a huge issue at Shadowridge if you own more than 1 vehicle. 2 bedrooms only get 1 covered spot. They continue to add reserved spots and are now threating to tow if you park in a non designated reserved spot overnight. I was instructed to park in the boneyard where I've had my car broken into already. So I was forced out to the street to collect parking tickets. In the mean time, visitors are welcome to park in any open spots. Not cool at all.
I moved into my current apartment after living in a house for 10 years, due to the owner wanting to sell. Three weeks after moving in, a shooting happened, which took the life of an 18 year old. While the maintenance is accommadating, there were many things that needed fixed. Also, the parents of many of the kids, do not supervise their children at all.
For the price, size, and location, it's perfect. $1280 for 800 Sq feet for 1 bedroom and it's right off the freeway. 1 carport and 1 open spot. Management is nice and it's a beautiful neighborhood. However, it's noisy and no AC. I know its San Diego and we shouldn't need AC but why do we have heating instead of AC? Also if you are near the pool it is super loud and noisy (obviously). Overall it's got all the basics you could want and in a good, safe community.
This is a Condo located at 3675 Barnard Drive, Oceanside CA. I have a 1 bed, 1 bath, and approximately 815square feet.The property was built in 1975.amenities, including a swimming pool, spa, fitness center, business center, tennis courts, assigned covered parking and BBQ areas. We also have on sight security and we are in a gated community. We offer 12 month lease's only. There always a sign on the swimming area not sure why maybe there was kids in the pool that not suppose to be in there spool it for other resident. Or maybe a breakout not sure... Fitness room machines don't only one works. not sure The TV never works not sure sometimes there no sign posted They have a shooting pool closes at 5pm when the office closes not sure ... They have 3 ways to enter the apartments two of them are use to enter and exit that just changed...the 3rd one is only open office hours...there a door next to that gate office hours only ..... That door use not be fix for at least one year..... The Owners are Brothers
