The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Severgn Apartments
I lived here for about 7 months before relocating for a new job. I moved over to these apartments from West Chester after having a negative experience at a previous property because of poor management. The apartments are in a great location - within walking distance of many stores and restaurants (Giant, Target, Starbucks, Wawa, Magerks). The property is well maintained and kept very clean - including the playground, pool and gym area. The office staff is very helpful and friendly and quick to respond to inquiries. Maintenance is very quick to handle requests as well. The clubhouse has events and the community has a neighborhood feel. It’s similar in price to other apartments in the area and is definitely worth it.
My experience here has been less than pleasant. Neighbors are loud at all hours out in the parking lot. When another tenant threatened to key my car and I told the leasing office they did not care. Same neighbor also smokes incessantly in a non smoking building. Nothing is done about it. One dumpster for the entire complex and it is often full, but they expect you to take your trash back to your apartment ans wait until it is empty. If you leave it next to the dumpster they fine you (they have video surveillance). Front doors have dents in them. Parking lot floods now due to new apartments being built. Lots of bugs here inside the apartments - beetles and spiders mostly. Cheap appliances that are dented and worn out. They only “upgrade” when someone moves out so if you are a current resident you pay more for poorer amenities than what others are paying for nicer amenities. Kids constantly riding bikes in the parking lot and in between cars. 17% rent increase.
peaceful and quiet property...love the amentitities including pool and full gym ....lived for a couple of of years and loving it!

Thank you so much for the feedback! We are glad that you are enjoying the apartment and community amenities. Warmest Regards, the Severgn Team
I moved to the area 6 months ago with a list of several apartments and towns to explore. I looked at severgn and it was my first choice from day 1! You get so much more space for the price and the location is isolated yet close to everything you need across the street. Close to downingtown, West Chester and Phoenixville. The walls are thick and the staff is so friendly! I feel safe at severgn living a lone. Highly recommend to other young professionals new to the area!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience at Severgn! We're so glad to hear you are enjoying your new apartment. We agree- the location can't be beat! So close to everything but tucked away in a serene setting. Thanks again for the positive feedback, we are glad you chose Severgn! Warmest Regards, the Severgn Team
Signed a six month lease and glad it's going to be over soon. For the amount of money that I am paying, I was expecting something much nicer. The apartment is mediocre at best. There were some updates done to the apartment before I moved in, but it still has that worn, dated look. For instance, the carpet was new when I moved in, but the floors underneath are not even (divots and bumps as you walk on it). Whoever painted the walls did a dismal job because it was not plastered beforehand. Who thought of putting a giant washer and dryer set where counters should be in the kitchen was a good idea? The bedroom is massive (who needs a bedroom that size?), the living room is a good size, but I always wished there was more counter space in the kitchen. Poor planning is all I can say about that. Again, this is something I would expect from a cheaper place, but when you dish out $1400 per month, you deserve better than this.
We moved to Severgn apartments before the complex was even completed! (about 28 years ago) We raised our daughter in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit and never felt crowded or uncomfortable in any way. Now that she is grown and married, we moved to a one bedroom unit and love it. The bedroom is huge, with enough room for a king sized bed and a sitting area with 2 chairs. It also has 3 closets in the bedroom! (one of them is a walk in.) There is a shopping center and Wawa right across the street, so it couldn't be any more convenient! The staff has been consistently fantastic over all of the years we've lived here, and any problem is taken care of quickly and pleasantly.(there have been VERY few)The pool area is lovely and the new workout room and community room are fantastic as well. You can get on the Turnpike in just a matter of minutes... the Chester County Library and Exton Mall are 5 minutes away! There are beautiful, mature trees (and singing birds) throughout the complex, along with 2 ponds that showcase all seasons wonderfully. One of the nicest things about Severgn is that it is so quiet. I have yet to find anything negative about spending some of the best years of my life here.
After achieving a life long dream of owning our very own home and then losing it to taxes that we were un-able to continue paying because of our fixed incomes; we found home here. We love it here. We are close to our work, and all things we need to survive happily. Sometimes we have to watch how we spend to pay the rent but we always manage. We save a little each month so we can someday travel to places in our beloved country that we have wanted to see.
I love Severgn Apartments. The landlord is great and the renters are great as well!!
Since moving out of my parents place at 18, I've lived in several different apartments with several different roommates, some good, some awful. Of all the places I've lived, Severgn has been the only apartment that's ever felt like home. The apartment itself is huge and full of amenities. I'm living in the 2br model which has 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room and a balcony. What I really love about this place though is the sense of community. The neighbors are all friendly, and the management is always so helpful. There was one time when I thought my cat had gotten loose, and management offered to help me look for him. I lived here for 3 years before moving out due to a horrible roommate, but I recently moved back here and dont see myself leaving any time soon
We have been here over 6 years, and during that time we are blessed each day to have such a great place to live. Our Office Staff is very efficient and the Maintenance Staff is super. Very prompt, and work is completed and very professional.
