Since 2023 enjoying the lovely view of the pond that inspires… Friendly and helpful staff have been appreciated. The convenience of the location has been one of the top advantages. Closeness to ferry and Smart, being at 101 exit in central Marin and walking distance to Greenbrae have all been among our favorites not to mention Country Mart with many retail and restaurant options.

We love it here. There are a lot of yellow jackets, but aside from that its kind of a perfect. The pool could stand to be a little warmer as well.

I’ve never lived in a better community. It’s safe, clean, updated, amenities are superb, I just love it. Parking can be an issue, but otherwise, I love it here.

Office will answer the phones for potential customers but not for existing residents. Management is unresponsive to complaints about gas-powered leaf blowers. Trash areas do not have sufficient bins for the quantity of waste produced at each building.

It is a lovely place and at a reasonable price. The spa-like setting of our apartment by the upper pool is delightful, as is the proximity to the nearby (10 minute walk) to the Larkspur Courtyard which is filled with restaurants and play areas for the children.

Not sure why I received a link to leave a review when service was not provided! We have been trying to get the heating ducts cleaned for months and keep getting the run around. Meanwhile I purchase my own hepa filters for the furnace and have to replace them every two weeks or less. They get very dark and we start sneezing again. It’s been too cold not to use the furnace even though the debris it spews is noxious. We also have roof leaks when it rains. This hasn’t been properly fixed because when one stops, others start. Management and maintenance says they will take care of it but they don’t

In a water emergency the response was very prompt, even after hours.
There is no communication. Managers are careless. No help is ever provided. They are always out of the office. They never answer the phone. No ine took me on a tour or told me what amenities there were at the premises. In general I had a VERY BAD. Experience there. I lost my mattress, couches and have spent so much money cleaning my clothes and on cleaning supplies to get rid of the infestation. I have pictures and 2 different pest control services and they still do not want to compensate me for the loses. The apartment was inhabitable. I had to leave.
Serenity is a beautiful pet and child friendly community. It is well maintained and quiet with friendly residents and a great staff!
I am extremely happy living at Serenity for the last five years. Despite the initial rocky start of Greystar staff turn over, the present team under Caitlynne’s leadership including office and maintenance staff for the last three years has been stable , friendly , accommodating and exceptional ! The grounds and amenities are well maintained now and it is a safe and beautiful environment. Highly recommend !
Beware of this place. They ignore emergency maintenance requests of they don't think it is important and will not call you about it. The office will say things will be checked/fixed before you move in and that won't happen.

Serenity is an oasis of peace and calm in Larkspur. The community is family and pet friendly. The grounds are immaculate. It is also close to shopping and major freeways.

I’ve enjoyed living here with the scenery, dog park, close to the Marina Plaza. Plus a washer and dryer in my apartment is a bonus.
The community is amazing. The management and maintenance of this property is at an almost Slum level right now. Garbage is overflowing. Rats have shown up. It's been over a month and they promise to fix whatever is broken on the property, it takes weeks to be fixed. Sadly such a gorgeous property has gone down severely since Greystar took over.
Front office seems disorganized. I’ve had an outstanding issue with my “electric “ bill ig $450. No one has a proper answer for me. It’s been almost a month. Now I have a bill, with no reason given.
Serenity at Larkspur is an exemplary community. From the staff, to the residents, this place is essentially as it is described...Serenity in Larkspur.
Local management works hard to keep our property updated and clean. Caitlynn and her team are the best since Graystar took over.
The grounds are beautiful. The location is superb, and the apartment is quiet and the kitchen is very serviceable. The rental price is fine and it's location for walking, restaurants and shopping are excellent.
Overall the the property is nice and management do the best they can to support the tenants.
Serenity at Larkspur is a lovely, welcoming and relaxed place to be. The amenities are incredible, as is the location and spaciousness of the apartments. I had to move under stressful circumstances and over a holiday, but the staff made it really convenient and as easeful as possible to become a resident. I continue to be surprised at how convenient and easy it is to live here with each day. If you are looking for housing in Marin, I definitely recommend Serenity!

The trash around the whole place! You see the same trash for weeks and unless it blows away or a resident picks it up it stays. It looks terrible and that is what new residents would see on a tour !

They straight lie to you to avoid problems. They don't answer your emails until you actually show up at the office. Are they even working there? They pick the email to answer. For example, when They ask you to extend your lease, all those paperwork that can give them trouble if they don't do it. They won't answer if you complain or ask something they don't wanna answer. The property has been very poorly managed. They used to mow a lawn very often. However, it looks abandoned now. I don't even know how long they haven't been mowing. Maintenance is good, and very responsive, unlike management people.

The staff has turned over numerous times in the 4 years I have lived here. Just when tenants get acquainted with staffing, hours of availability, and roles, they are changed. This just creates stress on the tenants which is not ideal.
