Skaneateles is a popular upstate resort town about twenty miles southwest of Syracuse. The community sits at the north end of Skaneateles Lake, and summertime always sees a huge influx of visitors looking to take part in some boating, fishing, swimming, and sunbathing. Even after the summer season ends, the town sees a steady influx of visitors attracted by the autumn foliage and traditional holiday decorations around the community.
