Tucked in the northwest corner of Cook County, suburbs such as Hoffman Estates, Palatine, South Barrington and Schaumburg vary widely in personality and composition. Schaumburg, the largest in population, is home to Ikea and Woodfield Mall, the largest mall in the Chicago area. Palatine, developed on a wooded marshland, comes in at a close second in size. Hoffman Estates, while smaller, is the most densely populated of the four suburbs and is home to AT&T's Midwest headquarters and Sears Holding Corporation. South Barrington, tiny in comparison, and arguably the most affluent in the area, is home to the famous mega church, Willow Creek Community Church.
Heavy traffic can double or triple commute times, so area locals know to check the highway reports before leaving home. Normal drive time into the city from this area is about 30 minutes via the Interstate 90 tollway. An easy 20 minute drive will take residents to O'Hare International Airport.

Property Ratings at Seasons at Hoffman Estates
I moved in here December 2023. Everything was good at the starting point. As soon as the pool was opened, the nightmare started. People are having parties every weekend from the evening until late hours, sometimes even until 2am in the morning (in the clubhouse, BBQ area & pool area). Our unit is next to the pool, so we as residents felt intimidated by those strangers, experienced a loss of our privacy and overall felt unsafe to access the clubhouse, mailroom & gym. The pool was frequently occupied by strangers that had been let in by other residents. Groups of people frequently broke into the pool after closing (9pm) for swimming & regularly made disturbing noise. The police have been called 5 times already to resolve all those disturbances. All these issues were reported to the property management, as we are concerned about our safety, but nothing has been fixed or resolved. We are in the process of early termination of leasing. **Conclusion - No safety, no privacy & you do not get what you pay for here. Pool & Clubhouse are worse than the public pool at seascape.... We offer 24-hour access to our clubhouse as part of our amenity package, but do not have any record/camera footage of parties going until 2:00a.m. We recognize your concerns regarding the pool and are continuing to implement solutions to help combat any further issues. We have posted temporary signage within the clubhouse, ordered new permanent signage, updated our fob entry times to the patio area and will be changing the door configuration leading out to the pool deck. Rest assured, we are taking ample steps to remedy and are addressing your concerns. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please reach out to our Property Manager, Michael, in our office. I was one of the first to move to Seasons Hoffman Estates and this is great. Michael and Evelyn really make sure this works well for the residents. The apartments are very comfortable, as shown in the photos on their website. The area is safe and the recreation spaces are fantastic. The maintenance team responds quickly and efficiently. Living here is great.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS EXPENSIVE "LUXURY" APARTMENT. The walls are so paper thin that I hear people next to me, above me, below me, and behind me every morning and night doing their daily living like talking, walking around, showering, ect. They are not being noisy or disturbing it's the paper thin walls here that is the issue. Also the parking is terrible here and always packed and doesn't seem to have enough spots unless you want to pay to have a guaranteed spot. I have lived in 4 luxury apartments in my lifetime and this one is the most expensive so far and the most disappointing.
