Thank you for taking the time to share your Sea Glass experience with others. Out location is perfect, right across the street from Henderson Beach State Park, convenient shopping and right down the streets from Destin High School! Thank you! Team Sea Glass.
If you're looking for a place to live that's affordable by Destin's standards and that's in close proximity to Destin High School for your children then this place may be for you. Outside of that, we would recommend finding a different community. The move in experience was terrible from the start. We moved over 750 miles from our previous residence to be here only to be met with a dirty apartment with an A/C that didn't work properly. Instead of replacing the A/C right from the start as was recommended by the A/C repair company, the apartment management staff opted to go with the pinching pennies approach which resulted in three A/C repairman visits over the course of 12 days before they ultimately went with replacing the A/C. The bottom line was more of a priority than our quality of living experience.

I absolutely love it here. We moved from out of state and was unable to physically view the apartment prior to our move in day. When we arrived, the pictures and videos did not do justice for how beautiful the property is and how well kept the amenities and grounds are. The staff has been amazingly supportive and friendly to me and my family. Very happy we chose Seaglass!

The layout of the community is one of the best I have seen. The court yards are really inviting and relaxing. Most of the other residents I have met are very nice and friendly. I absolutely love the pool! Its big enough that even on the hottest days with a lot of people using it you don't feel crowded.

The apartments are updated with beautiful landscaping. They are in an extremely desirable area next to everything and a short walk to the beach. If anything could be improved it would be to ensure all residents are following apartment rules and held accountable (closing gates, and not leaving trash outside 24/7). Other than that, it’s great!

Beautiful facility! Great location! Friendly staff! You could not ask for a better location in Destin. Close to everything: beach, shopping, restaurants. Easy to bike or walk to Henderson Beach State Park for the morning, day, or just to watch the sunset!

Critical: Quality, Responsiveness, Value I had high hopes for this complex. Its just too expensive for what you get. Mold was an issue in my unit. Grey Star is notorious for snatching as much money from you as possible. The staff is apathetic to your needs and get this, they are only there Monday through Friday from 10 to 5. So if anything happens at night they tell you to call the police. Way to manage! It is a military barracks disguised as a luxury building. There are way too many people living in such a small space with constant traffic moving in and out. Loud parties at night, inside as well as outside the building. The only security we have is a locked gate at your building which tenants keep propping open to let their buddies inside or letting take out food delivery guys inside. The grounds are covered in dog poo. The hallways are filthy. Apartment maintenance is a joke. My unit was brand new when I moved in and immediately my washer didn't run correctly. It only worked on one cycle and after 6 repairs it was never functional. My refrigerator was worked on so much they finally replaced it . My hot water heated broke, my dishwasher broke. Not to mention they came into your unit weather you want them to or not. They just help themselves and you cant say no. I just love when someone walks right in after not knocking. Fire alarms went off all night for some reason. I do feel sorry for the maintenance guys, there are two to three of them depending on the month. They are overwhelmed and it shows. Gray Star stop being so cheap and hire more workers. The entire complex is falling apart .three men can not take care of 430 apartments. I've been a resident there for four years and everyone I know who moved in, left just as quickly. If you are living on the first or second floors you will here your neighbors upstairs stomping around. You will here music blasting. In conclusion, if you are shopping for a new home and need a place temporarily, this might just work. If you are looking for a long term residence, look elsewhere this is not the answer. Just to puts things in perspective, I have paid over 80 thousand dollars to live there for four years and I got one whopper of a bill after moveout. They even billed me to repaint. In the age of co vid and with your exorbitant prices you should be repainting each unit every time. Don't pass your maintenance bills off to the tenants.

Don't do it. If you want to be able to use the amenities after the sun goes down, you'll be labeled bad and told by the property manager that he doesn't care if you want to leave.

Sea Glass is a great place to live, but it isn't perfect. Sound is my major issue. Other than noise, Sea Glass is an amazing place located in a wonderful area in Destin.

Not recommended. Nice looking exterior, pool and exercise room but very cheap appliances and smelly carpet for such high rent. Very noisy neighbors and can't get help getting them to stop. Leave the apartment in identical shape as when you moved in on the walk-thru sheet, but get money deducted from your deposit anyway to cover something you didn't do. So they kick you on the way out you might say. So recommend looking elsewhere.
