About Scottown Apartments
Affordable non smoking housing for income qualified households. All households will be accepted or rejected for occupancy based on our Tenant Selection Policy. All households' gross income must fall below limits set by the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program to qualify for initial occupancy. Rents will range between $0 and $835 based on income and whether Rental Assistance is available or not. Rent includes garbage, sewer and water. Tenant pays electric. If no in house Rental Assistance is available, we will accept HUD VOUCHERS or other types of outside subsidy. Range, refrigerator, dishwasher, air conditioners furnished. Lawn care and snow removal provided. Off street parking. Playground, basketball hoop and laundry room on site. One year lease. Security Deposit and References required. NO PETS, NO SMOKING. Bloomsburg is a secluded town of around 15,000 people on the banks of the Susquehanna River, roughly 60 miles southwest of Scranton. Best known regionally as the home of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, the large population of students gives the community a distinctive college town atmosphere—this is most apparent in the eastside neighborhoods surrounding the campus, and along Main Street, which features an extensive assortment of cafes, arts venues, and nightlife hotspots catering to the university crowd.
