Property Ratings at Schuster Historic Lofts
1. No answer from office on moving day or the day of.. causing mover issues. No return of voicemails 2. Didn't receive stove or refrigerator until day 3. 3. Extreme toxic dust all over apartment since day 1. Company and property management refuse to clean it until instructed by an inspector. had to literally go back and forth with them. Not a great welcome 4.) Promise certain repairs verbally. None of which were done except for one. 5.) Moved me in with 12 plus blinds missing plus one side are cracked and have holes in them. Blinds extremely dirty. Not cleanable and needed to be in the trash. I was promised a new set before moving verbally and in writing and have yet to have them. Management refusing to get them and saying they never promised him to me but I have it in writing. Everything is a go back and forth. They never stick to their word and when you call the management company they don't care. 5.) I have been complaining about a noise that resembles the sound of thunder coming from my ceiling. Keeps me up at night and I would never be able to have a guest because it is that loud. 6.) Still to this day not registered to be able to buzz people in or have a parking pass as I request during lease. ....... And the list goes on and on and on and on Before posting this negative review, I have contacted team management and have tried to get this resolved to no avail. When asking the company why I was presented with an apartment this way their reply was " early lease termination"! Instead of addressing the problem and apologizing.Even went so far as to say they were going to start the process of lease termination. Amazing loft. What you have to deal with when you get inside is a different story.
My apartment is very large for the money. I like the high ceilings and hardwood floors. I have been very happy with Kayla the manager. She makes me feel welcome and when my dishwasher broke it was fixed in a day. There is a rooftop deck which you can sit on and look at the city. I have been here for two years.
I lived there for a year just this past year in a studio/one bedroom. I really loved the apartment. lots of SPACE, beautiful kitchen and living space. Very quiet and this was important for me since I work PM shift and would come home late every night. Every time I needed something, Kayla the building manager tended to my every need. She and all the staff (maintenance) are very respectful and polite and are on top of things when I email her for a maintenance issue or whatever it may be. My neighbors are also very nice, in fact, at one point some even helped me move a heavy dresser delivered to my room. I really appreciate my experience there. I moved out because it became too pricey for me, and though my neighbors and the apartment were great, i wasnt too fond of the neighborhood.
When I first moved there I was very scared because there where older people and I thought that they was gonna be complaint a lot and having a lot of people there that don't belong there which I called numerous of time to the property manager and kept asking serveral question back to back she was very patient and nice to me even though I called alotbof times asking the same question over and over again so then I toook a chance and moved inn trusting the property manager and so far it's been so great it's quiet and when I need something done in my apt it get token care of right away, It's always somewhere to park. I can say that the property manager made me feel welcoming all the time by meeting my needs reguarding my stay there n I'm staying and not choosing to go no where now I really do like the older mature crowd cause it's so peaceful here. MY COMFORT ZONE IS MY WORLD
