Property Ratings at Sanford Estates Apartments
I’ve lived here since 2020 and I haven’t had any major issues. Management has always been helpful and reachable. Maintenance has always been competent and reliable. Yes, the buildings are older, the renovations they’ve been doing has helped. Overall, I’m happy living here.
My time here was short but mostly sweet. I only stayed a year and during the year, both apartment managers were nice, helpful and caring. Any problems I had, they immediately sent someone out either that day or the next day in the morning. When I first moved in, there were roaches but after spraying of my own and setting down traps I never saw them again. The tub had not been cleaned professionally as I was told but I cleaned it myself. My neighbors, specifically the apartment beside me was cursed. Anytime anyone moved into that apartment, they were loud and noisey. Partying from 5 pm to 8 am in the morning. Everyone in the area I was in was either friendly or kept to themselves. The only reason why I moved out is because my unit had no central AC even though it was supposed to have it when I moved in and before deciding on renewing my lease or not, something happened to the company that was doing the central AC for units and they couldn’t do my apartment and had no ETA on when they could. The AC wall unit isn’t that great and neither is the fan in the bedroom which means you’d have to pull money out of your own pocket to keep cool during the summer. Water is included which helped me save some money on a bill. But now living where I am now, I genuinely wished I stayed here. But raising the rent without giving my unit central AC was the turn off. Everything else about my unit was great for what I had! I miss my old apartment! All in all if its just you and a pet or you and a kid, the units are spacey enough for that.
Run the other way they switch owners every 3quarters Lots of mold due to water leaks, bug infestation recluse spiders fire ants bed bugs and roaches they are pretending to resolve issues throughout complex, an intentional lack of/in communication, mail issues employees questioning children without consent and parental presence and using children to gain access inside of units drinking employee barges in cops called he still works there three separate occasions same man
