The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Sand Ridge
We have been residents here for approximately years. The management has been getting increasing worse to the point that we will be leaving. Just over the last 3 months we have been without a washer/dryer for about 10 days and when it was replaced they raised my rent $40 a month. Our AC unit died and we were told that we would have to be without AC in July, on the 3rd floor, for 2 weeks. And we were supposed to be okay with that because they brought in 2 window units that only cooled the bedrooms and I work from home. We were offered a measly $45 a day credit that would not have covered the cost of a hotel room. Now they have had 2 of my vehicles towed at my expense, as well as over 20 other vehicles because they failed to provide adequate notification to their residents that the parking lot was being re-paved and the dates that each section would be closed.
We had to leave due to the toxic mold. Myself and my fiance were very sick (still am) due to the toxic mold. I have no idea if they even cleaned the apartment of it after we left. We had to throw away our couches, beds, etc. The apartment stated they do not take any responsibility for the toxic mold.

At first this place was great, but I slowly started realizing how terrible the management and staff are at this place. I have lived here for over 4 years and I have repeatedly asked to have the mold in my air ducts taken care of only to be ignored or told to “just clean it”. Also recently they entered my apartment without any notice to paint my ceiling. Which resulted in many items of mine to get paint on them. Last complaint is that I tried to move out last year, but unbeknownst to me I needed to give two months notice instead of one. So I am yet again stuck here another year. Would definitely not recommend moving here.
I have lived here for a long time. I have lived in apartments most of my adult life. The staff is completely incompetent. They try to handle everything in the house for fear of corporate finding out anything. The maintenance Personnel does absolutely the bare minimum to get by. The place is going to turn into the projects in a few years. I'm not sure what their screening process is for tenants but it seems to be extremely laxed. They might have criteria for the actual tenants but they do not enforce who stays with those tenants. Please find another place to live. You will regret it if you move here.
I've been here for a year and a half. My ice maker in my antique fridge turns into a big block of ice. Also my antique dishwasher hasn't worked since I've been here and yes I've called maintenance? multiple times and they came but never fixed it. Their website says their is a tennis court iv never seen. I also have to put my trash can out at a certain time for pick up on certain days and it has to be brought back in before a certain time in the morning cause they say the trash gets picked up around 6 and 7. I don't know about everyone else's but my trash gets picked up at like one in the morning by a drunk guy who makes alot of noise cause your trash has to be put out in your can. You can't just put the bag out by your door. Another thing, my truck has been broke into twice and so has my neighbors. The only thing I like is the sq footage of my apartment. I will be moving shortly.
Our family of 3 plus 2 furbabies have been living at Sand Ridge Apartments for a year and recently renewed our lease. We love the location, close to downtown about a 5 minute drive and only 20 minute ride to our favorite beaches. We love the screened-in porches with the added storage closet. We spend alot of time out there when it's cool. The rooms are spacious and there is ample closet space. The staff at Sand Ridge is very friendly and helpful. The maintenance crew does an awesome job of keeping the grounds clean and always do service calls in a timely manner. We enjoy the swimming pool during the summer. They have a small workout room here but it is only accessible during certain hours which isn't convenient for everyone but the community is large enough to go for a walk and I've seen many residents walking the grounds. There are pet waste stations among the grounds for when you need a bag. The staff plans events throughout the year from potlucks, halloween party, christmas gift swaps, and summer cookouts. The Food Lion located on 17th Street is just a few blocks away and is convenient enough to walk to. We've also been allowed to paint the walls as long as you change them back before a move out. Most places won't even let you nail anything to the walls let alone change the paint scheme. We have yet to choose the color best for us but plan to do so in the near future. The community also has its own online social network where neighbors and management can post about events, interests, meetups, etc. It's fairly new but has taken off quite nicely. Aside from a noisy neighbor or two once in awhile, this is a great place to live. They offer 1, 2, and 3 bedroom and I believe there's also 2 bedroom with a loft area. It is very affordable! We feel very safe in this community.
