I called to ask a few questions about the community and Adelaida was utmost helpful in taking her time to answer all of my questions which is very appreciated. This is a beautiful community!
Lived here 5 years and would have stayed longer but new management is rude, price for everything going up, they don't finish what they start when remodeling, come up with all kinds of admin charges to take your money, never call you back, don't do all work orders I submit when have issues, and no water a few days month. The only time they were nice is when I went in to renew my lease, but even then, no incentive to stay like before like a discount or something for staying another year. For the price they charge now, can find must nicer apartments.
Daniel In the office is so sweet and so professional. He helped me from start to finish with getting me moved into my new home. I’m so happy with my apartment. Newly remodeled unit and brand new appliances is a big plus. The location is so conveniently located. This is the place for me. I recommend this apartment complex if you are looking for a new home.
The new property manager Adelaida and the new assistant manager Edith are phenomenal. Exactly what the property needed. The new property management company are doing awesome updates throughout property. The property Is in such a great location. If you are looking for a great place to call HOME!!!! This is the place to live.
Moved here in Jan 2021, and just renewed my contact for another year. New managers, maintenance, and the location are great. I highly recommend this complex.
Moved here cause of the location and the options of apartments from large to medium with new or older options to fit a price range, but upon move in the place was dirty and not clean, on top of that I moved to the second floor and there were some spots in the floor that felt like they were going to cave in and fall through, then new management took over and upped the rent after giving my notice they argued that it was my fault that I sent my notice to the wrong email even though there are like 5 emails going on at the time due to management changes this new manager Edith I believe, was trying to argue, then claims she was trying to "work with me" lol what a joke but I dont normally do these but this was ridiculous Ive never seen anyone more apathetic to one of their tenants in my life but she sure was quick to argue about the 200$ they failed to charge me after paying month to month which i was fine to pay until she got a chip on her shoulder about the notice of my leaving

My experience here has been great. Everyone who lives here has been friendly and everything has been so easy. Not to mention my apartment is amazing!!
I lived at Saddlewood Apartments for a year and had nothing but a great experience. Mandy and Andrea were THE best and any maintenance request I put in was promptly addressed and fixed. If it weren't for me getting married and my husband being in the Army and us moving to another state, I'd continue my residence at Saddlewood indefinitely! In fact, upon move out, I still had a month of my lease to go while I'd already vacated the apartment and moved to be with my husband and wrote a check for the final month, figuring we'd just have to be out a month's rent while the apartment sat vacant. However, Mandy found a tenant and rented the apartment and called to let me know/returned a voided check to me ASAP! What a blessing!! Additionally, the majority of my deposit was returned less a small cleaning fee. A huge thank you to Saddlewood, Mandy and Andrea, and the staff for a wonderful experience! :)
Do not rent here! My son lived here for a year only because that’s how long the contract was. We cleaned the apartment and had floors shampooed and they said they were going to charge us extra ? We left it way cleaner than it was when they moved into it! They were rude and the apartments are falling apart. The steps leading to my sons apartment were broken and shaky. The floors were uneven and they were coming up. To many nice clean polite places to live in Lubbock this is not one of them! Beware !
I like these apartments. They are older but in a good part of town and really convenient to everything. The office and maintenance people have always been very nice and I have never felt ignored when I have a request or emergency. Because of the age of the apartments, they do have to continually start one new project after another, just for upkeep. They really do make an effort to maintain the property. I see this as a positive. Also, the rent is very reasonable. I lived here over 20 years ago, then bought a house, lived there for 15 years, sold the house and moved back to these apartments.
