Living in this community has been an absolute nightmare. The number of issues with the management is too extensive to list, but here are the most significant problems: The units are old, with outdated appliances and minimal maintenance. Because of this, I frequently have to request repairs, which take an unreasonable amount of time to address. When repairs are finally made, the maintenance team often leaves a mess behind, showing a complete lack of respect. The manager dismisses these complaints and instead labels me as the problem for expecting basic standards of cleanliness and organization. More disturbing is the behavior of the maintenance staff. One employee persistently harassed me by inviting me out and adding me on Facebook. Despite reporting this, no action was taken, and he remains employed here. To make matters worse, during a recent visit to the office to address ongoing issues, I was treated unprofessionally by the assistant manager, who yelled at me and refused to listen. The latest incident involved a malfunctioning front door lock. I spent over 20 minutes trying to get inside my apartment and submitted a maintenance request immediately. A week has passed, and the issue remains unresolved, forcing me to leave my door unsecured. When I brought this to the manager's attention, she dismissed my concerns, suggesting we consider terminating the lease. I agreed, but when I asked about my security deposit, her response was evasive. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Renting here is nothing short of a nightmare.

Community is good. However recently, they have started charging 2$ for the blinds this is disappointing. Also, a follow up needs to be done for any maintenance requests. They forget to put up tickets. Else, everything is fine

Stay is ok.. maintenance is very slow..maintenance request are resolved after lot of follow ups. Apartment floor makes sound while walking..Location is good.

Saddle creek apartments is a good community to live in. This apartment have all the modern amenities including a in house washer & dryer. The society is surrounded all over with greenery & lots of open spaces for kids playing area. It also has alncommon amenities like Gym, swimming pool, tennis courts etc. Overall, a good experience so far.

We just recently moved in and my experience has been less satisfactory than I had hoped. Touring the community and meeting one of the managers seemed promising but once you start the application process there is limited communication and it’s hard to get ahold of someone in the leasing office. After move in I had some minor maintenance issues which should have really been taken care of during the apartment turnover. I emailed and called the office several times and have yet to hear back.Seems like once they get you moved in and take your money. At least that’s the impression I have so far and haven’t even lived here a month yet. Also I have no idea who the property manager is I don’t even know her name I guess she can’t introduce herself to new residents? Very unprofessional. After living here longer I may consider updating this review should I see improvements. Overall the actual apartment itself is pretty nice and was clean upon move in. I’m going to see how this next year goes.

Living at Saddle Creek Apartments has been good overall. The community is friendly, and the amenities are decent. However, the maintenance staff is slow to respond and complete work orders, often taking around four weeks. Additionally, there's frequent staff turnover, which affects service continuity.

I really enjoy living within the Saddle Creek community. I have no complaints and I would recommend these apartments to anyone seeking a safe and quiet environment.
Maintenance is good and quick support on emergency calls.
Recently property management company decided to "UPGRADE" some units with plank flooring "WITHOUT" proper soundproofing. This resulting amplified noises from upper units. Worst of all, water heater rumbling sounds like fire works going off. I want to move out right now if I could.
Quiet neighborhood so far and walking areas are good. Prices up in areas in Novi and other Oakland county regions. Units are maintained well and landscape.
A convenient location in Novi where management doesn’t care about you.

I would not recommend Saddle Creek apartments at all. The community clearly does not inspect the apartments before move in. They do a terrible job at following up and with communication overall. They never follow up when they say they will, and this started with the application process to move in to dealing with black mold in my apartment.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! I would give 0 stars if possible. We thought we had found a great place to live when we toured the complex. We realized we made a terrible mistake the day we moved in. 1) Our apartment was dirty when we were given keys. Spiders nests in all the corners and along the ceiling. The stove was covered in food splatter from the previous tenant. The bathroom floor/tile was brown and crusty around the toilet. 2) WE SHARED OUR HOME WITH SQUIRRELS. a) They entered the building through the utility cabinets on the side of the building. I could hear them crawling in the walls and on the ceiling every single day and management did nothing.....they claimed to have set traps but it didn't seem to help. Nothing changed in the 6 months we lived there. b) Submitted a maintenance request to fix a dryer vent that was broken that I watched a squirrel climb into. The work was not completed until I submitted a second request 2 months later. c) We lost internet for a day because they chewed through the internet cables. The repair man made the comment that this complex was notorious for squirrels in the buildings. 3) Maintenance was terrible. a)It took over 2 weeks to get an outside lightbulb changed so my front door was in complete darkness in the middle of winter and we lived in an end unit, on the corner of the property far away from any street lights. b) We noted several items on our move in checklist, I had to go back to the office 3 weeks later to ask to get them taken care of. c) When they came to fix a toilet, they left greasy hand prints all over the door frame and walls and floor of the bathroom. They had to come back 2 more times before it was actually fixed. d) When they came in to relight the water heater after a gas outage, they left burnt matches on our laundry room floor. 4) They don't care about your safety. A boil order was issued by the city of Novi and residents were not informed until 12 hours later.

Unit is nice, location is nice. The maintenance response time, and willingness to work with people and their schedules is absolutely atrocious. 3 days after we get the keys and move in we discover the dryer doesn’t work. When we ask the office about it, they say someone will not be able to come until Monday because it is the weekend and not an emergency. Even though we just moved in you’d think they’d make an exception. We have a dog so maintenance is not allowed to enter the apartment before calling, we attempt to set up times for them to come and fix issues but they won’t set specific times. Yearly maintenance was being done and we kindly asked if we could be done first because of our dog being home alone while we were at work, if they could work with us, was told yes we will put you down for first thing 9 am. Didn’t get there til almost 3 in the afternoon, and seen them working on other apartments. A/C currently broke and it is a holiday, so we called for emergency maintenance because the temperature met the requirements for an emergency, 87+ outside, inside at 78 currently. It has been about 6 hours since the request was submitted, and was told after multiple calls back it was picked up and acknowledged by an on call maintenance member, but has yet to show up.

Unit was not move-in ready, filthy; premium-view rate not merited; revolting insects-pest problem. Manager agreed to address move-in state, 87% improved. View from extra window: dirt, wild turkeys, slim woods and neighbors short-cutting. Management narrowly focused on repeat spraying vs. rectifying the contributing conditions. Counting days to lease ends.

Worst community to live in... old apartments, roads broken! water sprinklers constantly waters roads instead of grass... I am not sure why they claim to be a luxury apartments. Also, community lacks proper hygiene, we share a dumpster between 50 apartments, the dumpster is always full and attracts rodents.

Ive Lived at Saddle Creek for two years and I love it. When I call them if there’s a problem, they fix it, immediately. They keep the grounds Clean maintained and beautiful. This is a nice scenic, friendly and peaceful community. I recommend it for all age groups, we blend together well here.

I wouldn't recommend apartments and would highly recommend checking unit before moving in, office staff doesn't care about tenants and always make a reason for not helping you. Also, saddle creek has slowest maintenance response even for a emergency maintenance response time is above 48 hours.

I chose Saddle Creek Apartments in large part due to the customer service I received when I came to view the model units. (One person -- in this can the Saddle Cree representative -- can make a big difference!) That level of 'catered' customer service remained consistent from application process through move in and check in. Issues I encountered were addressed both in a timely and professional manner. Surrounded by a small tract of woods makes living there a wonderful retreat from the world of work. In my very short time within the community, I am glad to see routine exterior upkeep going on, on a regular basis. (I am unable to comment on the community amenities as I don't use ever use an indoor gym, exterior pool or tennis yard.)

Quiet complex and improvements made often as needed. Repairs are done so far without delays. Office can be contacted by phone during regular hours. Located near lots of restaurants and shopping strips.

The management doesn't care about you once you move in. They lied to us about the space and layout of the apartment. Jerked us around for months switching us to different apartments and move in dates to finally move us above smokers. Which they allow in apartments and common areas to the health and hazardous detriment to the tenants with no solution but to charge you more to move or get out of your lease. They are disrespectful and accuse the tenants of lying if there is an issue. We will be breaking our lease as soon as possible as this is a health risk and the management does not care but rather defends the smokers who's smoke is coming into our apartment and the ash is on our doorstep and up the common stairs causing stains on our light colored carpet. Save your money and time, because no matter how beautiful the apartment the management is worthless and horrible to tenants once in and paying money. They will also not show you the apartment you are renting before you sign the lease and upon our move-in the apartment was filthy, had NEVER been cleaned, it was absolutely disgusting! RUN as far as you can from this place!

This is the best place I’ve ever rented. Keep up the good work. Your staff from renting agent to manager to maintenance workers are the greatest. Give them a substaiak raise in pay and benefits. They are worth it
