Property Ratings at Royals Greens at Gateway
Some investors have replaced the carpeting in their rental units with laminate flooring. The subfloors are wood and the owner/investors have use insufficient underlayments that do not meet the condo Association's thickness requirements. You will hear every booming footstep of the person(s) who lives above you. And if you decide to rent one of the units, the person(s) below you will complain to the management company and you will be fined for the noise.
I have lived here for about 9 years and I am happy to say that I am finally going to move out. The gym sucks and management hates for you to do anything without their permission. For example, don’t have guests over past 10 pm or they will get notebook sized stickers on their driver side window stating they need to get a parking pass. This sticker also is impossible to rip off cleanly. Also rent has gone up 500 dollars since I’ve lived here. Honestly these apartments are overpriced and there is no support from management. Live elsewhere, for your sanity.
The Condo's here are very nice, and so is the area there is a great school close by. However, there is a HUGE downfall in my opinion. The management here is terrible. For starters you HAVE to pay extra to be a part of the "Association" which they don't tell you about until after you've signed a lease, and they have a bunch of rules that they not only neglect to tell you about but if you by some miracle break one of their rules, you get written up and they make you pay a fine. They also have a bed time here, I thought everyone who was renting one of these condos were adults but we cant have friends over past 9pm or our friends cars will get towed. And when you ask for a print out for those rules they will either make up some story as to how they cant get to it right now or they will blatantly tell you that you are not obligated or privileged to read those documents. So we're all supposed to follow rules that we don't even know exist and if we mess up, its on us. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Apartments at Royal Greens are great. First time to live on my own and really glad I chose to live here. Very safe with gated entry and it is a very spacious apartment. Tenants are very nice and easy to get along with also.
My apartment is a condo complex that allows for dogs. My dog is my child and I must always keep him. We have a gym and a pool and it's in a gated community in Fort Myers Florida in an area called Gateway.
