Lee’s Summit is a medium-sized suburban community just outside the southwest corner of Kansas City. The downtown area in the center of Lee’s Summit is an attractive retail district full of locally-owned specialty shops, restaurants, and nightlife venues housed in historic buildings. The city has developed a healthy tourism sector with many cultural and natural attractions all around, including the Longview Mansion, Missouri Town 1855, Powell Gardens, and the enormous Fleming Park.
The local schools perform exceptionally well, and the crime rate is well below the state and national averages. Lee’s Summit is a great place for commuters to find houses and apartments, with the drive into Kansas City only being around thirty minutes (Amtrak service between the cities is available as well, although the trip takes about an hour).

Property Ratings at Robin Hills
This property isn't a great place to live. I recently moved out in Feburary and had to break my lease. I was told the break lease fee was $1820 and ended up paying over @4000. Property claimed I didn't clean the place due to finding a hair in the bathtub. The place has very thin walls and floors. I couldn't watch TV from the tenants downstairs talking throughout the night. It sounded like they were in the next room. Also, whenever they would cook, the smells would come through the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. I was going to transfer to an upstairs unit but overheard matienance mentioning a rat being in it. I'd wouldn't rent here.
This property is a great place to live. Very quiet, clean and nice. They are updating hallways and laundry rooms. They are very considerate of the residents. Very easy access to laundry facilities and trash. The staff is very Accommodating and very pleasant to work with especially Amy the manager. Any problems are taken care of immediately! If I didn’t already live here I wouldn’t hesitate to move in.
