True to its name, Bull Mountain is named for the hill it’s located on. This Washington County community is nestled along Southwest Pacific Highway, connecting the neighborhood to Portland, located just 11 miles away. Residents enjoy living so close to this buzzing city, while still appreciating Bull Mountain’s sense of small-town charm. Big-box stores, local restaurants, grocers, casual dining options, and more surround the community, but the majority of Bull Mountain is residential. This park-like neighborhood is very wooded, and locals enjoy city parks like Bull Mountain Park and nearby destinations like Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge. Nature trails, a visitor center, and more await at this nature preserve. Upscale homes line Bull Mountain’s verdant streets, and renters have a wide selection of luxury apartments to choose from.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Riverwood Heights Apartments
I have yet to talk to a neighbor that is not upset with some aspect of the apartments rules or regulations, no allowed air-conditions, pay for parking, or rising cost of water and garbage. Rent is pretty high for a pretty old building and space and while it looks like they are just updating with temporary construction, talking to other tenants they have said construction has been going in for years. It never seems to stop.
To me, it's not worth the rent they charge. It's pretty high. When I moved in, there were so many things wrong with my apartment. Toilet leaking, bathroom sink leaking, bathroom door won't shut, no plug in the bathtub drain, no screens on the Windows, stains on my carpet, and I was promised hardwood floors and did not get it. I couldn't even see my apartment before signing the lease. I got shown a different one, which I would prefer that one over the one I have. I like the fact my large dog is allowed, and I do feel safe here.
For apartments they are OK. The maintenance is terrible. They could take weeks to get anything done, and then when they do it's not done right or they left something out and don't come back at all the fix it. Rent is very high in this location. There's not a lot of noise, and the children are not running a little over the place. If you have over $1000 a month to spend for rent I guess is OK – the maintenance needs to really work on service. The garbage dumpster most of the time is out of control. You don't get your own parking place, so if you get back after six on a Friday night usually have to park we are done at the opposite end of the unit which is quite a distance.
We got a newly renovated apartment and the rent is ok for what we get. There are neighbors who are super loud and like to party until 3 or 4 in the morning but we do have patrol officers who drive in quite often so that helps sometimes. There are a lot of dogs in the complex and a lot of the owners do not pick up after them so it gets really gross a lot of the time. We had an issue with some appliances and our bathroom shower not working and it took almost 2 weeks for them to get back to us for the repairs. The garbage is atrocious and is overflowing constantly. They have one trash compactor for the whole property and that would be fine if it worked. It does compact when you shut the door like it should. The apartment is decent and the fireplace is really nice in the winter.
