When I came to look at the apartment complex Alex welcomed me and she showed me around. She never made me feel rushed and answered all of my questions in a very sweet and professional way. She made the application process easy, which I completely appreciated as I was moving back to the area and was nervous. I have known from the beginning that I made the right choice. The property and buildings are always very clean and beautiful. The gym is very clean, as is the Community Room and pool area. They communicate things we need to know and even have a Facebook page so it's easy to gain access to information. I have always felt safe. The office staff is always available for any need. I highly recommend Rivers Pointe Apartments! I don't plan on ever leaving.

Would not recommend! They will find anyway to take your security deposit, even if you hire a cleaning staff. The office staff are never in the office. It took me 3 tries of driving back and forth to turn in my keys after my move out date. They’re maintenance staff takes forever to fix even small problems and you will have to call multiple times just to get them to come. Kaycie, the manager will be the sweetest person until you’ve signed the lease then she is very rude even when unprovoked. The pool was barely open during the summer even though they include that into their prices for rent. 10/10 would not recommend. You can find something better, trust.

Do not live here. Raised rent on us by 70%. Looks nice, but poor management.

There are many ups and downs about River Pointe Apartments. Let’s start with the downers... the snow removal is severely lacking and can’t imagine how it would be on a normal winter. On the lease it’s required that dog owners pick up after their dog. But it appears that some dog owners don’t feel like it. Management hires a cleaning person for the public areas in the buildings but cleaning is par. Maintenance staff is working shorthanded which most likely creates most Of the issues. The upsides... The location is absolutely perfect! On one side you have a country setting and the other the convenience of shopping. Within a minute or two drive or 5 minute walk. In the mornings and evenings you may see deer in the field grazing. The sound of birds singing in the morning is wonderful to wake up to. The apartments are beautiful, clean and quiet, with generous parking spaces which reduces dinging someone’s car. Lastly, the management and maintenance staff are friendly. These apartments are in a great location and they’re beautiful with positive potential, hence the title pick your battles.

The facilities are very nice - club house is comprised of a meeting room with computers and printers, fitness center, entertainment center, and pool. Except none of these amenities (excluding the fitness center) are available outside office management business hours - M-S 8:30AM-5PM. The downside to this apartment management is that maintenance requests are not fulfilled in a timely manner. Bedroom lights are replaced by management - we put in a request the week before Christmas and it took two months with multiple in person visits to get the light bulb replaced. The after hours answering service for emergency maintenance requests are able to do nothing but pass on your call to the on-call maintenance who may or may not return your call in a "reasonable amount of time". Currently the building alarm system (if you go into the apartment building main entrance) has been emitting a high frequency since at least 8 AM today (it is now 11 PM). Office management and maintenance have been aware of this for most of the day. Yet here I am writing a review after 2 maintenance calls and 2 in person office visits about this issue unable to go to sleep because on-call maintenance needs someone to talk to about this issue (if they even decide to return my phone call) even though this is a building issue and not a personal rental issue. Is the building secure? I don't know and neither does the after hours maintenance service. The only thing that puts this apartment above others is the in house apartment laundry.

This property is in a fantastic location. Next to 481 and less than 1/2 miles from all the shops and restaurants you would ever want. I have been here almost 3 yrs and found it to be well maintained, clean and super quiet. The new mgmt company has made great strides in anticipating our needs and very responsive to maintenance requests. Snow removal has improved (it was never bad) and I can tell they have creative and clever plans to continue improvements. Leases are flexible and as a single person I have never questioned my safety. Take a look!

I've lived here almost 8 months and so far the Rivers Pointe Way apartment complex has exceeded my expectations. Finding a new/modern apartment is actually kind of difficult in central New York. Rivers Pointe Way buildings have a secure key fob entrance, an elevator and central air. Maintenance does a great job maintaining the properties inside and out. The attached and detached garages are clutch to have in the winter. Other perks include a swimming pool, tanning bed and gym. And of course, they actually allow dogs (rare in New York). Overall, I'm very satisfied with choosing to rent here. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I moved back in to Syracuse area and were looking for a comfortable apartment to call home. We found Rivers Pointe apartments and have been happy ever since. The staff is wonderful now! It is nice to talk to them, visit with them, and get assistance. The common areas in the complex are well kept and enjoyable. There is a state of the art fitness center for use at any time of day or night. The apartments themselves, are clean and laid out nicely. We love our community here!

Super modern and cute apartment for a great price. Close enough to commute to Syracuse and day trip to Oswego

I agree with all the bad reviews! I honestly don't know where all the good reviews are coming from unless they actually are the lucky tenants who live in a building where the sound proofing is better and where pet owners actually pick up their dog's poop. I seriously can't look out my patio without seeing dog poop EVERYWHERE! It's disgusting! I don't see anything being done about pet owners being accountable for cleaning up after their pets. Don't let me get started about the sound proofing between the floors! You can hear EVERYTHING up above you! The stomping gets annoying.

Me and my spouse are very pleased with everything about Rivers Pointe since moving here, staff is excellent, everything is always taken care of promptly and all others residents are pleasant. Would absolutely recommend.

Rivers Pointe Apartments has been a great place to live so far. I have lived here for the past 4 months and it has a nice, quiet atmosphere. Also, all the neighbors are friendly and they have a great management team. Conveniently located. Highly recommend!

Rivers Pointe apartments are a great place to live! You're located very close to everything you could need like grocery store, shopping centers, places to eat. The new management has been doing a great job advocating for the residents and keeping the grounds and buildings near and orderly!

I lived in Rivers Pointe for 2 years prior (2015-2017), and then recently came back again in June 2019. The new management so much different and much better!!! For example... grounds are cleaner, staff are friendlier, maintenance is quicker, better online portal. Rivers Pointe offers so many great amenities in their apartments that I love--2 bathrooms, large closets, washer/dryer! Makes apartment living feel like a home. I am excited to see the future of Rivers Pointe through the new management. I would highly recommend this community.

Rivers Pointe Community is an excellent property to live in for several reasons: located within walking distance to many stores, close to the highways and thruway. I have lived here for 3 years, and plan on renewing my lease when it's up in a few months.

Rivers Pointe is a great place to live! The staff is very friendly, and always available when you need them. If I have ever had a maintenance issue within my apartment, they have come that day to fix it for me. My building is always very quiet, and my neighbors are very friendly! All of the buildings are very safe too, no one can enter without their keys! The apartment grounds are always clean...the parking lots and roads are always plowed, sidewalks are salted, grass is always cut, there is no dog poop laying around (in fact they provide you with doggy bags inside each building and at locations around the vicinity). I would recommend Rivers Pointe to anyone (singles, families, elders, etc.)!

Community is very convenient to shopping (Wegman's, Price Chopper, Kohls, etc.) restaurants, yet once in the community feels very tranquil. My apartment backs up to wooded area where we occasionally see deer and other wildlife and often have beautiful sunsets from our porch. Grounds have improved significantly with new management. Maintenance people are fantastic; both very responsive and pleasant. Had an issue with refrigerator (shelf I accidentally broke) and they repaired no questions asked. Hallways and entry are kept clean. Good mix of young and older residents.

We have lived at Rivers Point for three years now. We have enjoyed it very much. The apartments are beautiful and conveniently located. There are many stores, restaurants and banks nearby. The office staff addresses concerns quickly and the maintenance staff is very friendly and helpful. It is great to have a work out room and a pool available to the residents. The life guards are very conscientious and friendly. Allowing visitors of residents to swim is definitely a plus. We have enjoyed living here.

Rivers Pointe is a really great place to live. I have everything I need within a mile. It's updated. Staff is friendly. They return every call/email in a timely matter. I have zero complaints and would recommend to a friend.

I've lived at Rivers Pointe Apartments for a year and a half. It's a quiet, safe neighborhood, with easy access to many stores, medical offices, and the best supermarkets and restaurants within a couple of miles. Easy commute to work or school anywhere in the area. I'm glad we have A/C, basic cable included, in-unit washers and dryers, dishwashers, and are a pet-friendly community. The outdoor pool and the fitness room are assets. The building security is nice for a single woman like me, and the elevator is convenient. Definitely plan to renew my lease when it expires in a year!

My husband and I have lived at the Rivers Pointe Apartments for almost 2 years now along with our dog who joined us about a year ago. Our apartment itself is beautiful and we have had great neighbors. I feel safe in our building which was important to us. The maintenance staff is incredibly friendly, quick to help and loves our dog and gives her lots of attention when they see her outside. The new management team has been very proactive and it has been a very positive change.

The Rivers Pointe apartments have had a strange couple years. The grounds and neighborhood have always been awesome, but management was less than stellar for a while. You'll probably bump into a few older reviews saying how bad they were. However, that's all changed now. There is new management in place and they're pretty responsive and helpful! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these apartments to a friend, they're great!

We have loved living at Rivers Pointe for the last two years.We were moving into the area from out of state and weren't happy with any of the apartment complexes we looked at until we discovered this complex. Management is helpful and approachable and maintenance gets things done. Not only are the buildings new and the grounds will kept, but we are in walking distance of so many shopping centers, grocery stores and restaurants!

I have been in this complex for approximately 5 years and I love it. New management is wonderful to work with.

It's been over a year since I moved to Rivers Pointe and overall, I am satisfied living here. First, location. I love that Rivers Pointe Apartments is very well located. It is a quiet neighborhood, but still is next to great retailer and grocery stores, like a Walmart Supercenter open 24/7, a Wegman and Price Chopper also open 24/7. We have also Lowe's and Home Depot, Barnes and Noble, Homewoods and Kohls, etc. All of them a few blocks away. To make things even better, there is a Well Now Urgent Care also a few blocks away and easy access to I-81. So, location is great, no one can argue against that. On the other hand, Rivers Pointe Apartment is not only a quiet neighborhood, but a safe one too. All buildings have a main door with double doors. After passing the first door, the second door can only be open with a magnetic device given only to tenants. There is an intercom on the wall to reach the apartments and tenants can grant access to the building from the convenience of their homes. Each building also has a service door on each end, those doors also only with the same magnetic device. Hallways are carpeted and well lighted. To make things better, each building has an elevator in excellent conditions, so moving in or out is easy.

I love this apartment complex. I feel safe, secure, and everyone is incredibly friendly. The staff has been exponentially helpful since I moved in with maintenance issues and were very responsive to my many questions before I moved in from out of state. Highly recommended.

The new management company that just took over seems very dedicated to the property and all the residents that live here , I’ve been living here for a few years now and already see improvements. Snow removal is doing a great job this year and the office personal are very friendly and helpful ( big improvement from past years ) , and the location is perfect . This is a very friendly place to live and family oriented. I recommend seeing the place for yourself

This a great complex. I live in a 3 bedroom and it is a perfect living space for a family. The staff in this community are top notch and being able to use the great amenities (heated pool, movie theater, club house) is a great feature. Best apartment community locally

Nice quiet place to live. Rooms are spacious and well layed out. It's great having a private laundry room. Everyone tends to keep to themselves. Lots of dogs around but hardly hear them.

So glad my new family and I choose Rivers Pointe Apartments we looked at many luxury apts in the Syr area and RP has everything we need and more you will not be disappointed thank you for a great place to be!

My fiancé and I moved to Rivers Pointe in 2017 after graduating school in Buffalo, NY. It’s just the 2 of us so I knew an apartment would be the way to go for now. However, I feel like most apartments are stuffy, outdated, and you have to share a washer and dryer with your neighbors, YUCK! When we went to Rivers Pointe to check out the apartments I didn’t need to look any further. You get what you pay for and boy are these apartments nice. The building I live in is quiet, clean, and well maintained. The countertops are granite, cabinets are a dark chocolate color, and the fridge has an in freezer ice maker. Each apartment has its own washer and dryer! You’ll either have a balcony or a front porch and some of the buildings are pet friendly! Mail gets delivered in the building and each building has an elevator and stairs. The community center has a well-equipped gym, a pool, office center, meeting room, and free coffee and water ?. You can pay rent online or by dropping a check off in a locked box at the community center. Not only is the apartment complex great but you’re spoiled with Kohls, Walmart, Target, Wegmans, Home Goods, Speedway, Panera, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Home Depot all within 2 minutes and without having to go on a main road (you can even walk to some of them). Overall, I have yet to have a negative remark about living here. Truly, our time here has been so pleasant and we get so many compliments on how nice the apartment is. The only way we will leave is when we decide to buy a house. Highly recommend Rivers Pointe Apartments!

Right now they are offering $50 off tenants rent for each positive online review. So take these new reviews with a grain of salt. While this apartment complex is boasting new management, it has the same problems and poor standards for up keeping their property as always.

i moved here in july with my husband and new baby in between home buying I was anxious to move from a home to an apt but rivers pointe exceeded my expectations it’s so quiet I forget i’m actually in a complex the staff are super friendly, we have our own washer and dryer in our unit the list goes on definitely choose rivers pointe apartments you won’t be disappointed!

I love living here. The rent is super reasonable considering all the amenities and the quality of living and service you receive. Great pool, awesome gym, and a beautiful community building. I would absolutely recommend.

The new management that has come in has been exceptional in dealing with issues left behind by the old group. Maintenance is always quick to fix problems and are super friendly. Management is trying to be inclusive and form relationships with tenants as they see them. Snow plowing has already been better than last year. We hope to live here as long as we're still anywhere near the Syracuse area! Plus, our dog loves everything about this property and the other dog owning tenants are super friendly with our little dog!

We have been living here for the last six years. The management has been very responsive to my complaints. High quality granite counter top kitchen, and spacious bathrooms. The property is managed well with seasonal flower pots, and regular clean up. The swimming is maintained excellently. The lawns are maintained as well. Right next to shopping mall. Pat. P

Snow plowing sucks dont except to walk to your car or even get out. Relationship with the office sucks unless you like getting talked down to."manager bumber 2 or 3?" Down stairs neighbor has smoked in her apartment since day one managment is too afraid to enforce its own rules insted offers a dehumidifier. The ammenties listed besides the gym cannot be used unless the office is open so 8-4 weekdays and till noon on sat? Extensions on leases are offered if you wanna pay another 4-800 dollars

Stay away from this Dump Hole, I have lived here about 4 years now and have seen this place going down the hill and with the new management taken over about a year ago it is nothing but greedy unprofessional people running the show now, This use to be clean and joy to live place is now filthy, unhygienic place to get sick, there is Dog poop all around the property, be it green area or doorways to the building, there is Dog poop everywhere, and after repeated complaints to the management nothing happened. The doorway of the building I live in there is poop sitting for the last 5 days and I was told they will take care of it right away, but nothing happened. They even will tell you that it is not an emergency repair situation if your toilet bowl is clogged and they will get to it in 2 weeks’ time because you have 2 toilets in your apartment. They charge you High Monthly Rent and then add other charges like Renters Insurance Fee, Utility Fee, Trash removal Fee, Admin Fee, and even if you pay rent online another Fee. Then you pay Sewer, electric, heat and Water Bills on top. So, at the end it will cost you a fortune to live in this DUMP HOLE. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

They were easily accessible to move into when we needed to move into the area rather quickly. After moving in, I am appalled by the rude customer service that we have consistently encountered by the front office. If you HAVE to live here, make sure it is the third floor, you can hear everything through the ceiling and when animals are allowed you can hear the constant running around above you. I am so glad to be moving out of this facility. Very unimpressed, not worth the price you pay at all.

Where do I begin. The office staff is very rude (woman named Shawn). They do not want to deal with day to day issues with professionalism and good ethics. Office management needs a look in the mirror and realize they are a major issue at this residency. The plowing is terrible where you will need to shovel your parking lot to get out during heavy snow. They swipe once around 8am and that’s about it. Someone had a genius idea of putting in hard woods so your neighbor above you can be herd when they move an inch. We can hear when the person above us closes there dresser droor, not to mention when they walk (we literally just leave to escape the noise). Our experience has been not so great and we are glad to be moving on. We hope they can clean there act up for the communities sake because it is located in a very convenient area.

This place is so overpriced. Outside looks nice but inside is small and as basic as it gets. Not to mention it is located right across from HUGE power lines and is right behind a shopping plaza. You get loiters using picnic area who don't even live at the apartment! I got out of here when my lease was up!! DONT WASTE MONEY!!!! Don't be fooled by outside looks of building. Also since animals are allowed, I have heard from other renters that their units have the smell of cat urine from previous tenants.

We moved in late June, 2017. We couldn't be happier and more satisfied with our choice. Office staff is extremely receptive, caring and attentive. Maintenance keeps the property in top shape. Our neighbors are friendly and considerate. It is hands-down the best community in Liverpool and very pet-friendly. I would recommend this to individuals, families... anyone!

The area is maintained nicely by the maintenance staff. The walls are paper thin and you will hear your neighbors kids yelling. You will also hear your upstairs neighbor walking around due to creaky floors. Expect your rent to increase by 5% every year. If for some reason you cannot sign at least a year long lease, they will jack your rent 50% and call it "the market rate" for 3 or 6 month lease. Management seems nice, until you sign the lease. Then you are just a rent check, and rent checks should not complain or do anything except pay on time. I do not recommend this place and if you plan on spending at least $1000 a month on an apartment, you can do much better!

The floors creak and sound like they're ancient even though the building is just a few years old. In fact, the building is cheap and you can hear everything above you! Also, if you decide on a second floor apartment, make sure you are not above a garage, you will be awakened all hours of the day and night every time the garage opens. The apartment actually shakes and rumbles in addition to the loud noise. The staff is not responsive and conveniently forget things. The maintenance guys are not on duty all the time-- despite their claim of 24-hr maintenance, and stuff seems to break a lot. Also, the roads and parking lots often are not cleared quickly after major snow storms, so slips and falls are a big risk. In fact, I fell flat on my back yesterday on the snow and ice again.

We had a horrible experience with Rivers Pointe Apartments! We lived there for a year and moved out as soon as our lease was up. THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE PRICE! Make sure to see your actual apartment before you move in. They show you the biggest, nicest apartment for your walk through. We were not able to see our apartment until the day before we moved in. I cried the minute they showed us the apartment because it is not what I expected. It was very small and we lived over 4 garage doors. Every time the garage doors opened or closed it would shake our entire apartment! It was terrible. Oh and you get these wonderful letters from management once a month basically telling you everything that you are doing wrong. I could hear the people walking in their apartment above us, as well as the neighbors around us. My advice....save your sanity and keep looking.

When the staff shows you the model make sure to walk the stairwells up 3 floors and down both sides of the building. The creaking floors are even worse in your apartment. I can hear everything upstairs. Bring your earplugs your going to need them.. 5 stars -NOT
