Rivercrest Apartments

Loud neighbors that they say they can’t do anything about. Construction at all hours with no notice. Cars broken into multiple times. Didn’t have a manger for months. Doesn’t answer phone calls. Front staff females are catty and rude. Homeless people everywhere. People smoke in the laundry rooms. Zero security ever. Don’t recommend to anyone ever.

First I had to wait for an email application for a week which was sent to the wrong email even though I initially gave 2 emails and were verified before leaving the office. Then I had to provide 3 separate proof of income documents(bank statements, pay stubs, and verification from Experian) which every other apartment site only needed pay stub and bank statements. Two days before the date I requested to move in (three and a half weeks after my initial holding deposit)I was informed I was accepted which at the time I already been working on moving into an apartment that took 4 days to verify and approve I declined the Rivercrest offer. Which then I found that the information that was initially given about receiving the holding deposit back was incorrect and that I won’t receive it back because it exceeded 72 hours even though it took them a week to even get me the application by email. Overall I wouldn’t recommend anyone even doing the process staff responds when they want to drag out the process.

DO not live here! Save your time and money. Starting with the management they would never answer our calls, when I asked to make an appointment with maintenance or pest control they would'd make the appointments for me. I would have to call several times because we had ROACHES and they didn't care, they said "roaches are part of nature" anyways it would take weeks to get pest control to come due to their lack of capabilities to schedule my appointment. Also we had the loudest downstairs neighbor who blasted music all through the night and when we would call at 10pm to complain they said they could't do ANYTHING about it. Another thing was we were paying for a gated community and the gates would ALWAYS be open, letting the homeless in to brake into cars and steal off peoples balconies. Management would email the residents and tell us to make sure the gates were closes behind us, when its their job to fix the gates.

They advertise 24 hour surveillance and a gated community. The cameras don’t work and apartments have recently been robbed. They don’t send out any notice to tenants to inform them of what is going on. I don’t recommend moving in here.

Very rude service provided by the people at the front desk. Maybe they need to hire an entire new staff?

This is the perfect location if you are a family or a college student who needs a quiet place to live. It is next to a college campus, however this is still a peaceful location with little to no outrageous noise. The staff are extremely helpful and work quickly to solve issues. There is a lovely common area in the office, as well as several pools, hot tub and gym. For families there is a small playground for children and other activities for the family.
