River Pines Senior Apartments 55+

I went on vacation Aug 10 and returned Aug 23. My fans were on and I left them off. My electric bill was $181 and no one was here. I'm thinking I left the fans on. Never had many bugs because I closed all of the open holes the are in community building like these. I get home bugs coming from everywhere in my bedroom, never had a problem until I went on vacation. They knew that I was not renewing my lease. I kept having this feeling that someone had been going through my things while I was away. While package today I found proof that someone had indeed came into my apartment without my permission and violated my rights and there wasn't a reason to be in my apartment. They left a business card that I had never seen before on my loveseat that no one sits on because of its position. The card was in between the pillows were the person was sitting or laying. I have no idea what was done in my bed because it was broken at the head of the bed as if someone was jumping on it. Im take pictures of everything as proof.

Moved in here thinking and was told by Management that it is a quiet retirement community. It's anything but that! Neighbors hanging out in Stairwells and Breezeways shouting and drinking, loud profanity and disruptive behavior that comes right through my Apartment door, Sounds like they are right inside. It's like a zoo in my own apartment. Go to leave somewhere and the neighbors Family and friends sitting blocking the stairs, asked if I can get through and get a feeling like I'm imposing . Leave and come back still packed up and blocking access to my Apartment, Wait for them to move and let me pass and like it's a big effort for them to let me up the stairs. Very Loud !!! This is Retirement in the Hood style.

I was looking for a place for my very independent father to live. I called and set up an interview, with a friendly manager. Then I had to change my appt and the staff was very helpful. I came to the property, its very active with residents out and about. We went on a tour and went to the dock, which is beautiful as it jets out across the water. We grabbed an app and were on our way. Currently waiting for an approval. THANK YOU RIVER PINES!!!

Could not rate amenities, there aren't any. Next thing to a cell block. But price is right if that's your motivating factor

I went with my mother to see this complex and the front desk receptionist wanted my mother to give her a power of attorney because she didn't speak clear English. I told her I have never heard such a thing. It's a filthy place. The seniors that live there should complain. They don't even paint the place. I would never put my mother in such a place.
