River Park Landings

My husband and I lived in Talbot Woods for two years. We honestly had little to no issues. We lived in a third floor, two bedroom unit that was spacious, clean, and we rarely if ever heard our neighboring units. The people in our building kept to themselves but were friendly in passing. Maintenance was responsive in the two service calls we had during our stay. The pool in the summer is nice and well kept. The apartment features some older appliances and cabinets but they all worked just fine, so if you're not picky about that stuff, then I'd recommend Talbot Woods as an affordable, safe, comfortable apartment complex. The location is a total plus with easy access to highways and multiple shopping centers, too.

We lived here for six years. Pros - Large Bedroom, living room and walk in closet. Overall space is great (except the kitchen). Cons - Outdated kitchen, very little space. It was very cramped, and the cabinet doors would stick (they were old and obviously repainted several times). Maintenance is good for the most part, however, the sewer backed up at one point, leaving sludge in the bathtub! It was gross. Also, we had a lot of mold issues in the bathroom for the second half of our stay due to a leak above us. Mold always came back, they did cut some of the Sheetrock out and replaced it, but it always came back and they kept painting over it, claiming it would go away. Rent was increased every year but they did negotiate with us a little. The last year, they wanted to up the rent over $120 a month and they'd always been small increases. They claimed it was due to the higher priced apartments coming in the area near by. Well, when it comes to brand new apartments with washers/dryers, and all updated appliances, large kitchens, etc, it makes sense. But here, the increases were not worth it at all. No upgrades or work done at all. If you can't find something affordable, it is an OK place, but when it came to the mold issue and then wanting to charge us over $120 more a month, we left.

Although the rent is fair and gas and hot water is free, the apartment is just built cheaply. It hasn't been updated in quite sometime. Everything is just repainted. My floor near my kitchen sink has a huge dent from the dishwasher (that doesn't work) sinking into the floor. The AC vent is only in the living room and the air circulation into the bedrooms is terrible.

rolling green has a good community nice but not nosy. good town close to anything you need. they have great fair pricing and spacious apartments. lots of in apartment closet space/storage. downside is its on a steep hill that can be troublesome in snow and ice. also there is no real area for basketball type activities or a large open field area
